Do people get their lease cars detailed? I've had a quote of £400 for a new car detail and protection with Gyeon ceramic coating - heart says yes as it's hard to keep black looking good, head says fk that it's going back in 2 years.
Depends how much you can live with the inevitable swirl marks and marring you get with black paint. For leasing I would say forget it. If you are worried about the state of the paintwork before handing back then give it a good clean and clay, couple of coats of Poorboys Black hole glaze to fill the swirls and then a coat or two of Natty's Blue. It will end up looking better than it did when you picked it up and would probably cost no more than £50 in materials and an afternoon's elbow grease.

Ive signed up for and passed Finance on Cupra deal.
Yesterday I saw a 5 door Mercedes CLA 45. In a brilliant white. I was mesmerised by it. It had some sexy black alloy spoke wheels.
I know they don't come cheap on a lease around £425 plus. But gosh I think if an offer ever came up I would pounce on it.
Surely the record for the 'How far in to your lease until you start looking at your next lease' time period!!Yesterday I saw a 5 door Mercedes CLA 45. In a brilliant white. I was mesmerised by it. It had some sexy black alloy spoke wheels.

Cheers for the link to the Warrington Cupra deal. Is there any way to adjust to the DSG and look at the options list? Has anybody who has ordered the auto got a person of reference that was reasonable to deal with.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Adam was my contact, great from beginning to end, always called back when he said he would and explained everything. A pleasure to deal with and a credit to IMG
DSG add £39 per month I was told...

is anybody aware of a super cheap special deal (say <£150 on 3+23) on something Polo/Fabia sized (that isn't a hot hatch)?
Wife is thinking of ditching our CMax for something new (may end up being next year) - 5 doors is the only prerequisite really, can be SUV or normal hatchback.
Saw a Seat Leon 1.2 TSI deal - almost makes the budget - £152.72 p/m 3+23, 10k pa. Wife is thinking of ditching our CMax for something new (may end up being next year) - 5 doors is the only prerequisite really, can be SUV or normal hatchback.

Perhaps the wrong thread to post this but just had the inspection done on my Mercedes by BCA (financed through MBFS)
The chap was excellent and very fair. Only 1 small charge which was completely fair and expected. Wanted to share this as I know people worry when returning their cars. I had this idea in my head of being stung with huge charges!

I got offered around that back in October on a 3+23 10k before options (as I went for the exhaust and dynaco interior) and was around £440 after options IIRC. I ended up with an S5 though as thought it was more car for the money.WaftyCranker1 said:

Yes - A family friend detailed his S8 within a week of taking it home! I'd probably do the same. It's coming up to two years now and this particular car will make a very, very good used purchase for someone!*
- assuming it doesn't get bashed around in the interim at a BCA or Audi dealer compound!

What were you charged for out of curiosity? Did you expect to incur charges for other aspects of the car and what were they? If my car went back today I'd expect to pay for 1 kerbed alloy and an unfortunate scrape on the passenger side skirt which I noticed the other day, it's only about an inch but is down to bare metal and is not acceptable going by BVRLA FWAT guidelines. I'd be interested to know what sort of charges people have incurred for similar issues. The chap was excellent and very fair. Only 1 small charge which was completely fair and expected.
