where did you get 25% off list??? thanks
http://www.broker4cars.co.uk/Buy/New_Car.jsp?selec...

5dr manual. Looks like it's -24% this week, was -25% last week. Discount applied to options too.

This makes a new one the same price that dealers are asking for 18month to 2 year old ones!

We wanted metallic, wheels, keyless and heated screen, but those kill the lease deals, so we bought one instead!

Ordered to buy, 12-14 week delivery.

Some decent deals sent via email this morning on the 280 ps Scirocco

https://www.stablevehiclecontracts.co.uk/volkswage...

The 230 ps GTI doesn't look to bad either.

Not the crazy good deals of January this year [for the Scirocco ] but still look quite good.

Ok have just agreed a new Golf R Estate deal MK7.5 Facelift Model.

Details are

Golf R Estate in Indium Grey Metallic
DSG Box which is standard.

Initial deposit £2116.80 INCLUDING VAT

23 X £235.20 INCLUDING VAT

Based on 6,000 Miles per Year.

Works out about 21% of RRP so not to bad a deal, week 14 build so should be with me by Mid May all done via Breeze VW Poole Dorset.

Decent price without the white paint which I'm not keen on, this is the car I'm interested in and have sent off two enquiries but not heard back yet. Wondering if I'm better heading out to my local dealer to see if they can match it.

Yes they are stock cars in the VW dealer system, not yet allocated to any dealer, so its fist come first served, my dealer recons they will all be gone by the end of this week.

Things are certainly hotting up on here... Would like a GTI with DSG - It looks like it's only 6 speed and all other Golf's have a 7 speed box. Anyone know why?

I'm very interested in the GTI deal. I'll phone when I get a chance. I'd really like to have apple carplay. I believe that's the Car-Net ‘App-Connect’ option at £130. Can anyone confirm if that is what I want? Since the offer appears to be for stock cars, will it just be down to luck to see if a car with the option is available? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Carplay comes included in the new Golf GTI/R.

Hi,

I'm almost certain that it will be 7-speed and it's just a mistake on the website's configurator. Oddly the GTD shows both 6-speed and 7-speed DSG options for the same price, so again I think just another mistake. All new Golf DSGs are 7-speed AFAIK.

Is the GTI deal good enough to warrant its own thread?

Sounds like it.

You didn't want to wait for a new R hatch deal then?

Just gone for a white R Estate (no options)

£1665 followed by 23 x £250.03 for 8k p/a = £7422

That's just over 21% which seems pretty good on the PH valueometer.

Through Windrush VW direct.

An R would be great, but at current prices, I can't justify around 3k on top of a GTI.
And my current lease is coming to an end so not sure how long I would be waiting for a drop in R hatch prices.

That's a good deal, I'm just waiting on a quote coming back for similar!
