Looks ok - presume M Sport trim?

3 series getting on a bit now, and feeling it inside. Spec not generous.
Plus the base spec is pretty sparse. Hmm.

It isn't terrible, I admit the stereos pretty average but what's missing that others have?

How far in advance does everyone arrange a new lease car to replace their existing one? I've got a 2 year lease due to end in October and I've seen an attractive deal with the same lease company I used last time. Would I be able to arrange the deal now and have it delivered around the same date my current car is due to be collected?

Heard a few people complain about them being underpowered can anyone confirm? Being stuck with an underpowered car for 2 years would get right on my tits.

Depends on the company, but yes you should be able to. I ordered a new lease start of April and not picking it up till December.

Hi guys

What is the best deal available on a Golf R DSG 5dr at the moment? With an annual mileage allowance of 8k.

Check with your broker.
Some deals must be done by end of this quarter to get a certain price ( see this "must be delivered by 30 June" etc a lot with Mercedes deals through brokers)
On the other hand my broker was quoting September delivery when I ordered in April. Get looking NOW - anything that tickles your fancy may be on a 16 week factory order

Had an email from Wessex Fleet offering Leon 1.2 Dynamic Technology SE Nav on a 1+35 for £149.99 on PCH , seems very good value to me so worth posting. Doesn't seem to be up on their website yet though
Did you follow up on this? I'm interested in the deal but can't find it anywhere either (not signed up for their emails).

Cheers

I think you can still get the S8, they haven't even announced the new one yet so one would think it's available still. Looks a fairly decent deal, not as amazing as the ones 18 months ago but fairly good.
It's still current model, as there's no new A8 and S8 would follow after some time anyway. £17K for two years is not bad but infotainment is a bit old now. Otherwise can't complain (except Audi service). I'm considering keeping mine for 3rd year depending on extension quote, which I'm going to request tomorrow.

The ones with the best deals smile

This is how I did it

try the aggregating site www.contracthireandleasing.com for the car you want.
That should get you a ballpark figure.

Then just use google
"cheap Fiat Doblo Pop lease deals"
just put the car you want in instead ( unless you actually want a Fiat Doblo Pop)

I'e only used 1 broker so far so would be unfair to single them out. Just have a browse through the thread.

I didn't follow up as I already have a Cupra on lease so was just posting for anyone who may be interested. Screen grabs of the email below though if any use?

Thanks for that as a general rule how many months should the initial rental be?
9 months seems excessive to me but I understand that produces the cheapest monthlies

Entirely up to you. Just look at the total amount you are paying.
Big initial =lower monthlies and usually least total cost, as you don't pay 'interest' on that money.
But if you crash it at the end of month 1 then that money has gone. It's a rental and that is the first month's rent.
You can get gap insurance to cover a high initial rental, but you need to compare the price of that with the higher total payable on a low initial profile to see if it's worth it.
Low initial = greater monthlies, but you don't have to fork out extra in the first month.

Always look at the total payable including fees.

Thats the one! A lot of them do have (to within a quid or two) the same total regardless of the initial payment, but some don't. I normally find the cheapest deal over the total and then ask to quote based on the initial I want. I'd imagine the only benefit to having a high initial is if you have the brass sat there and you don't want a larger monthly affecting other things.

In past I went for 6 and 9 months initials as I wasn't bothered about it. Over time I read more here and next time I will be negotiating lower initial to minimise potential loss of it in case of accident. Assuming of course total cost will be similar. I like 1+23 deals offered by Central. I would also try to go via dealer to make sure I get updates. But when I think about it, so far I had best updates from Vehicle Savers and worst from Audi and MB.

What are peoples thoughts on this deal ????
My thoughts are yes. Where was this quote from? what is the web link? please pm me too as I really don't wanna miss this! If the mileage penalty isn't bad, I'll be placing an order very soon!

Previously I was looking at PCP at 5k upfront and 410 per month for 4 years with all my options. That was with 18% off RRP, at £34K for the car from 42K ish.

I suggest going two pages back and you have everything explained! https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Link to CVL - https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/...

Bear in mind, that adding options to lease car, will increase price significantly as you will be paying full price of options during period of leasing.
