You just have to click the 'watch' icon to follow a thread, rather than post.

Was certainly more deals posted on the old thread.

Still, at least no-one has asked about GAP yet...

Yes, I've got a white R Estate 7.5 on order, 10-12 weeks delivery.

3+23
£320/month
5k miles
300 admin
8.4 excess

All inc. VAT

Excess rate is low enough to top up to 10k per year for £420 or they might do a cheaper bundle mid way through.

This is via Yes Lease.
That's 'not bad' compared to recent offers. I'm holding out for £8k amortised which might mean I have a long wait or am totally deluded!

Copy from the end of the previous thread...

Moderately good deal on a 335d Xdrive:

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

9+23 8k mileage £299.99 inc VAT

In Stock
No fees

Not amazing but haven't seen better for a while.
My Golf R goes back in August so looking for another fast car to replace it, the BM 335D X Drive deals look good, assuming they will come down a bit more over the coming months as the new models are talked about. Personally prefer a petrol, but maybe some big petrol engine BMW's will also come available?

In on page 1. Nice. Am waiting to pull the trigger on a 7.5 golf R 5 door DSG. If I ever get there I wonder what page number on this thread it will be...
Might be volume 5

Curious to know what the best deals are on the Golf R 7.5 at the moment, has anyone pulled the trigger? Is delivery still 12-16 weeks on these?
I've got a white R 5dr DSG ordered, due in July, from Neva.

9+23 @ £279
8k pa
£180 fee
11p mile excess

It's a decent deal compared to what else is out there but not groundbreaking. Not like the Rs of old.

I'm awaiting a deal on one of usual VAG suspects - Golf R/S3/Cupra. It'll be my Superb going back though, so i'll likely need to go for the estate. Superb goes back in December. When could I feasibly order do you reckon?

Likely to be some good last minute deals today, before the VED rise?
We had some, they all sold very quickly though!

Nationwide doing golf r AWD 3+35 for 361.14

For me that's still too high because you still need to add on all the options.

you don't actually need options though, and if you go in with that idea then leasing won't really be ideal for you.

When I was looking, that's all I could find as well. Best off sticking with the R Estate as you get more kit as standard plus the deals are better...

Surely SEAT should be pricing their Cupra cheaper than the Golf R and S3...

However for the SEAT, I would keep an eye on Vertu Lease Cars. They seem to have the decent-ish deals.

Are there ever any deals for C/E Class Mercs with specific option packs? I'm ideally looking for a car with the driving assistance pack.

I'm guessing that at £2k, it would add about 55 quid a month on a 4 year lease, yet the uplift for packs like the premium / premium plus seems to less when comparing option cost and lease uplift...

Edit: thought I'd add a deal that looks attractive compared to deals over the last couple of months:

C220d SE Executive Estate - £306 on a 3+35 / 10k p/a

It is cheaper and far more standard equipment. You get far more generous discounts on SEATs too. We won't be seeing figures like the cupra 290 black for a while though.

Premium/Premium Plus Packs offer an uplift in RV's, driving assistance pack doesn't. It's also on restricted supply for E Class as there is a parts shortage so expect longer lead times for a factory order. You may be lucky and find something physical with it though smile
