Have had mine for nearly a month now and very pleased with it, good economy (45mpg average, managed 53 on a trip to Swansea this week), very comfy, handling is nowhere near as bad as some reviews suggest, very easy to drive, good equipment and just generally a very good car for the money (I managed to get £185/month in the end on a 3+23). Rear leg room is unbelievably good (I'm 6ft 3 and i can sit comfortbaly in the back behind my front seat position) and the boot is huge!!

Two little things that slightly annoy me, the armrest is slightly too far back to be comfortable and you have to have your seatbelt on for the automatic handvbrake to release which is slightly annoying if you quickly move the car to put something in the boot and then have to keep putting the seat belt on and off (as i said, very minor!!).

Anyway, very good and glad i took the plunge over anything in the similar price range.
Can you let me know where you got the deal and also what's the excess mileage as I'm doing 20k a year.

I had the same issue with reference to the seat belt (opening and closing gates on the drive!). You can over ride the parking break without having a seatbelt on by depressing the brake and releasing the handbrake at the same time. That will allow you to drive without the seatbelt.

I have the Sportswagon in ISG 3 spec (3+23 from local KIA dealership, so no fees) and its a great motorway car for the money.

Just because that's the price they are at the moment doesn't mean it's not a bad deal.

The method most of us use to ascertain whether a deal is good or not is the cost of the lease as a percentage of the value of the car.

Pure White is a £280 option and 19" Brescia alloys is a £595 option. The 6+23 term at £326 costs £9,454 over the term. If we remove the options cost, this brings it to £8,579 for the basic car.

The RRP of this car is £29,335 and it's available from Broker4Cars at £23,454. Therefore, the lease is costing 29.25% of RRP and 36.5% of discounted price.

I wouldn't consider this a good deal at all. However, as we all know, going looking for a lease with a specific model in mind is unlikely to result in a good deal on most occasions. It's usually best going in with a specific budget and looking for the best deal available for that budget.

For reference, I've recently gone for a deal on an Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe with £400 worth of options. The RRP of this car is £53,220 and the total lease cost is £8,040 - albeit with only 6000 miles p/a. The car is worth 80% more than this Golf, yet the lease works out cheaper - even allowing for £539 to cover excess mileage (that'd bring the allowance up to 7k p/a).
I don't disagree with you at all, in fact I agree with your comments. My point was just that right now for that car the deal is fine. probably one of the better ones with those options. There is likely to be better deals come up and IF another car was to be looked at then there may be something either better value or for slightly more £s a better car. I read that the OP was after a Golf GTI DSG and wanted to know if it was a good deal compared to other deals for the same car.

Some people for various reasons may want a specific car and are happy to pay for it but just want the best deal at the time. This would render the % to value of the car pretty meaningless but as the majority know here for a deal you don't want to get hung up on a specific make / model.

The only danger with the continuous quoting of past deals, that no longer exist, is that some may start believing that unless they get an Alltrack for £120 per month on a 3+23 then its not a good deal. Different circumstances mean different priorities, not everyone can wait for a deal and some people will want something specific. Its a great deal you have on the 4c, but where would I put the kids? What about in 6 months if I want a 4c should I not get one because 6 months ago I could have got one cheaper than a Golf?

We all want to strike a deal like this but we are not all ready or able to do so when they arise, thus we have to take the best deal available at the time when we are able to do so.

Anyway Like I said I am in agreement with you and follow your rules, the deal is of greater importance than the car (to a degree).

It is a great deal on the 4c and hope you enjoy the baby supercar for the 2 years.
Well, I got a car, but it wasn't the GTI in the end. I decided to go for the TT 2.0 TFSI Black Edition S Tronic. No options, just a standard MY18 factory order car (the latest MY has a few extras additions over previous MY that are useful). Its 6+23, £359/month, 8000 miles in white, from a Main dealer (courtesy of What Car leasing). I realise it isn't the cheapest and maybe not the bargain that everyone seeks, but I am pleased with it and it will be a great daily for two years. My car allowance just about covers it as well, which is another bonus.

I still really like the latest facelift Golf and it was a tough call, but i have always has an itch to scratch with the TT. The A5 Coupe 2.0 TFSI S Line S Tronic (with Tech Pack) was in the mix in the end as well. That was £361/month and same profile, but I struggle to warm to the A5 Coupe shape.

As long as you're happy with it. It does seem expensive considering the S4 was available a month back on 3+23 with 10k miles for £397 per month

If you bump that up to a more sensible 10k miles it's cheaper here

9+23 @ £211.20 for the black edition.

S-line seems to be marginally cheaper via G2L @ £261 pcm amortised on a 9-month initial with 10k miles, though this may not be the refreshed model: https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/audi/a4-saloon/...

was a little impulsive this afternoon and put a deposit down to secure an Alfa 4c Spyder without really doing any due dillegence on the car

6k per annum

6+ 23 @325 inc VAT.

No fees

Value wise a very good deal - List of almost 63k but on closer inspection you can get the same car with delivery miles for about 10k less.

After paying a 1k deposit while paperwork is being sorted out i chatted to the other half and then looked at some reviews on the 4C.

while the car looks fantastic and i'm sure has a great sense of occasion i don't think i could live with it day to day .... reviews seem to say it's very hard to enjoy the car unless on on perfect smooth roads - ultimately i'm a lazy bugger and seeing as the car didn't have power steering i cancelled ...

Another company that's advertising really good deals, better than anybody else, but was only set up within the last month.

May be legit, but anyone interested tread carefully!

Good spot. A quick Google shows that they've taken their blurb directly from this directory entry http://directory.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/company/63... .

Even 117 would be good, but I think that's a bug.

Would have been of interest to me. Only checked up because there was a recent incident on here of phony company advertising lease deals trying to get leases to bank transfer fees/deposit to them!

Generally speaking, the numerous lease company's there are all have access to similar deals from the same funders. Any that are offering deals so much cheaper than their competitors can, should be approached with caution.

Isn't that the same address as the hooky one? Wortn scrolling back a few pages to see if 792 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 6UG is the same place. Google shows it as a 'suite' which rings alarm bells to me
