Anything fun, focus-ish size and available for c£250 a month on 5-7k miles?

Debating a lease versus a second hand hot hatch. Petrol, not mega miles in a year and not too fussed about insurance.

was a little impulsive this afternoon and put a deposit down to secure an Alfa 4c Spyder without really doing any due dillegence on the car

6k per annum

6+ 23 @325 inc VAT.

No fees

Value wise a very good deal - List of almost 63k but on closer inspection you can get the same car with delivery miles for about 10k less.

After paying a 1k deposit while paperwork is being sorted out i chatted to the other half and then looked at some reviews on the 4C.

while the car looks fantastic and i'm sure has a great sense of occasion i don't think i could live with it day to day .... reviews seem to say it's very hard to enjoy the car unless on on perfect smooth roads - ultimately i'm a lazy bugger and seeing as the car didn't have power steering i cancelled ...

Who was this with?
With mangoletsi - Alfa dealer in Cheshire

Got the Cupra ST down to £335 a month on a 1+23 with a free tank of fuel. Do I pull the trigger or wait and hope for the Golf R Estate deals to come back again this new quarter?

Mileage?
Maintenance?
Excess mileage?
Inc / Ex VAT?
Options?
Factory order? (Wait time?) Or in stock?

The steering has been improved and is not as bad as some of the early reviews made out. But it is still more of a weekend car. The cabin is tiny and a pain to get in and out of. And that particular dealer has a very bad rep (see Google).

I find it bonkers that you would sign up to a lease deal without doing any research whatsoever on the car.

Granted I'm due to collect a 4C spider in a few weeks and signed up without even viewing or test driving one but I know what my mates Elise is like and the 4C will be similar. It'll be used as a daily, practicality be damned.

For the sake of balance I used them for getting a Jeep Renegade and they were absolutely fine.

Agree- other half thought I was mad ... but as with limited cars available and the deal on paper was very good I didn't want to let the opportunity go ..

I had my 1k deposit returned as no paperwork was signed so I didn't lose anything..

I'm sure the car will be a lot of fun .. just probably not for me...

Morning!

Looking around I've found this on the A4 - https://carculated.com/audi-a4-lease-deal-review/

I know the engine isn't the best but seems pretty good with this percent thing being 21.9%?

Is this accurate that close to 20% cost of list is really good?

Thanks for any feedback!

Hi all,

Would be grateful for any reccomendations - I currently have a Scirocco R 280 that is due to be returned in November (2k down at 250 pm, 10k per annum).

My mileage has now decreased and 5k per annum would suffice, so looking for something similar/performance based with DSG at around 250-350 pm with low initial rental. I have been watching the forums and it's a shame the Golf R deals of previous aren't around! VW have offered me to continue at 10k per annum for 6-12 months at 300pm.

Thanks!

Well. Maybe. To answer this more confidently, see what discounts you are offered with carwow, and see what the pre-haggling PCP would be with Audi Finance on the website.

you can probably get a Golf R for that now. Not sure how you define low initial rental.

Nobody will know, when all is said and done the decent deals are just rumours as to IF they will happen let alone how good or when

Just make sure it's from reputable company and it's not fishing for your finance details. And if there's no 310 in the model name, it's probably pre-fl.
