Just make sure it's from reputable company and it's not fishing for your finance details. And if there's no 310 in the model name, it's probably pre-fl.
It's a facelift 310 and it's a main VW dealer offering it, going to drop them a line. Might be a misprice rofl

Sorry if this is a stupid question but why would a company fish for finance details?

From hukd.

Audi A4 Saloon 1.4T FSI S Line 4dr [Leather/Alc]
9+23
£189 per month inc VAT
10k pa
£350 admin fee

About £266 per month averaged out. Car has 18" alloys, front/rear parking sensors, nav, heated front seats, auto lights/wipers, keyless. List price is just north of £30k. 21% of RRP.

Apologies if a repost - not been in the leasing world for the past few months so haven't been keeping an eye on this thread. Thought it's a good deal myself. Broadspeed have these cars at £25k with £5k discount.

Identity theft to name one reason. The company may not use the information directly, they may just be selling it on. But if they want your information, and there isn't a genuine car at the end of it, they must be up to something dodgy.

Just a guess...admin fees taken over phone = easy £300. Selling on name, DOB, work details, address, card details, account details to 3rd party criminals? With that kind of information you could apply for all sorts of financial products.

Can anyone tell me the page on this thread when the first dodgy company appeared please?

Another company that's advertising really good deals, better than anybody else, but was only set up within the last month.

May be legit, but anyone interested tread carefully!
Isn't that the same address as the hooky one? Wortn scrolling back a few pages to see if 792 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 6UG is the same place. Google shows it as a 'suite' which rings alarm bells to me
This one with the address of 792 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 6UG has come up twice now. Without searching through the thread, they wanted £2500 transferred for the initial rental.

To make people new to leasing aware, I don't know of any leasing company that takes the initial rental from the broker, they take it directly from YOU. If you're paying a deposit/admin fees over the phone, try and use a credit card to cover yourself. Do some research on the broker before you send any personal information over to them, and if the deal looks to go to be true as it's massively less than every other deal pout there... It probably is too good to be true wink

I see a lot of chatter about 20-25% of the list price equating to a good lease deal - can someone explain this and how to go about making this calculation?

Any better deals elsewhere?
S-line seems to be marginally cheaper via G2L @ £261 pcm amortised on a 9-month initial with 10k miles, though this may not be the refreshed model: https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/audi/a4-saloon/...

Total cost of leasing for 2 years and 10K miles per annum / price of the car.

Now there are two options, you use RRP or discounted price. I personally use discounted price.

Hi PenelopaPitstop,

Where did you see this as coming from Crewe VW? I'm interested in a Golf GTi or R deal once my lease on a VRs is up. Do people just go to their local VW centre and ask about deals? I'd prefer to deal direct with VW and not pay any admin fees.

Thanks

About £3 cheaper per month but they're 5k pa.

The 10k pa deal posted on here will work out about £15-£20/month cheaper if you request a 5k pa quote.

The A4 s-line deal does seem pretty good if you don't want a diesel.
Out of interest does anyone know the spec differences between the s-line and black edition? I know there are visual differences, but do they have the same level of equipment/options?
Can't seem to find the answer on reviews!

Looks like the only real differences are the Black edition has the exterior parts 'blacked out' and also has 19" wheels and flat bottom steering wheel.
Don't think it is worth the extra over the s-line (around £500)

Yes that's the same outfit - avoid!
Looks like these guys have now been completely removed from contract hire and leasing
