Anyone got a quote for 10k miles? Or know what the excess mileage rate/limit is?

Hello,
Lurker here who has finally seen the light with leasing rather than purchase.
Looking for a Nissan (P-) Juke for the wife (3 years 8K mpa/10K mpa) - just missed the great Visia deal from Yes Lease a while ago and now just waiting for any new quarter deals. Can anyone recommend a Nissan dealer who might better the current broker deals please?
Cheers,
ganticus
Westway Nissan, I think their fleet office is based in the Aldershot dealership. They're owned by Nissan and have the biggest targets to hit and supply a lot of brokersLurker here who has finally seen the light with leasing rather than purchase.

See what you think.
Just to let you know that if anyone is going for an Audi in the next couple of days then give Edinburgh Audi a call.
I found out this afternoon that they are needing to shift 14 cars by the end of the month or they will miss their quarterly target which would apparently be a first so they are keen to do some deals!

Firstly I'd like to thank Paul from Select for his additional contributions to this thread, explaining how things work for posters and browsers alike.
Used to irk me a little when the odd average deal was posted, and nothing else- but now there is meaningful info on how things work, thank you.
Fast Bug - my continued thanks for your input.
Anyway, I know it's not my thread, but I had to get that off my chest.
As for the dealer/ broker situation my S4 was ordered through a broker, and I rang a couple of Audi dealers for a check (and to avoid the fees if possible) the nearest dealer price wise was about 3k over the broker cost.
Guess which dealer my broker ordered car is coming out of?

Is there someone specific worth talking to ?I found out this afternoon that they are needing to shift 14 cars by the end of the month or they will miss their quarterly target which would apparently be a first so they are keen to do some deals!
Sometimes I feel like it's a waste of time speaking to people other than the sales manager, in situations like this ?

I'd take an S3 in the next couple of days if there was a good deal going, so I'll take a name if there is one too!Sometimes I feel like it's a waste of time speaking to people other than the sales manager, in situations like this ?

It was just a member of sales staff that I was speaking to who mentioned that they were under a bit of pressure as they had never missed their target.Got the impression that they were quite new though so wouldn't want to name them just in case they should not have told me.
I would say it can't do any harm to get them to see them if they can match any deal that you find and I was actively encouraged to do so!

I'm very confident our Nissan terms are very competitive, also with strong residual values the Petrol & Diesel N-Connecta models are incredible value.

See what you think.
If by 'very competitive', you mean 'more expensive', then you'd be correct.https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/nis...
See what you think.
Looked at the first 3 Jukes that you have on offer in the link you provided and compared them to a basic search on CH&L (2 year leases as they're by far the most popular on here).
1st one
Your offer on a Nissan Juke Hatchback 1.2 DiG-T N-Connecta 5dr - 9+23 - 5k pa - £164 per month
Cheaper by £27 per month and it's 10k pa here: https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...
2nd one
Your offer on a Nissan Juke Diesel Hatchback 1.5 dCi N-Connecta 5dr - 9+23 - 5k pa - £183 per month
Cheaper by £29 per month and it's 8k pa here: https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...
3rd one
Nissan Juke Hatchback 1.2 DiG-T Tekna 5dr - 9+23 - 5k pa - £185 per month
Cheaper by £12 per month and it's 10k pa here: https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...
Based on the first 3 results, I didn't do any more searching on your other Nissan Juke deals. I got similar results with 36 month and 48 month leases.
Whilst you've provided some useful information re: leasing (thank you), all your good work comes undone when you post a link to your website with mediocre deals (at best). It's almost as if you're trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

it's a source of serial confusion for me on here that people bother with going to main dealers to price a lease.
I did, because the matched the best broker deal on the Passat (£172pm), with no fee, and they threw in a couple hundred cashback too...edit - oh and I got my car within 3 weeks as they had a load waiting to go - not sure if that would be available through the brokers - none of them offered it that I spoke to

that logic doesn't follow at all in reality. They may not be able to access the cheapest deals either through the category of dealer they are, certifications they have or funders they use. They may run a business model that says they will not discount to the same level. Just because they "need to sell cars" doesn't not mean you will get a competitive deal.I found out this afternoon that they are needing to shift 14 cars by the end of the month or they will miss their quarterly target which would apparently be a first so they are keen to do some deals!

Then again they may have access to deals and may not run a business model that you suggest, who knows! It is not a certainty that they can do anything and probably even unlikely but was just passing on what I was told in the hope that it may help someone.
As I say I don't think it can do any harm to give them a phone. If you are going to pick dealers at random to try and beat a quote, one of them might as well be one who is apparently going to miss a target, for whatever reason that may be.
fact is all dealers, all salespeople have a number to hit. They are measured on it, perpetually... this month or quarter no different to the next. Fact also is that their business manager also has a number to hit, and he is the guy that is measured profitability.
13 might be 0.1% of their number or it might be 10% of their number anyway. There is no telling whether they will see this as a bad situation to be in, or more likely just a number they'll easily knock out in a few evenings this week.

You seem to have a lot of mays and mights in your statements neither of us know so why speculate? 13 might be 0.1% of their number or it might be 10% of their number anyway. There is no telling whether they will see this as a bad situation to be in, or more likely just a number they'll easily knock out in a few evenings this week.
Not quite sure what point you are making here mate re targets. Course they are measured and that is the whole point they are not happy that they might miss their target and presumably bonuses!
The no telling part is surely covered in the fact that they told me they were struggling and would not be confident in selling enough cars to meet their target. Yes they may have been lying but not convinced that telling someone you are desperate to sell cars is the best sales technique in the world but then I am not in sales so what do I know!
