Hi guys,

Has anyone seen any good lease-deals on the Skoda Superb Sportline Estate?

I'm looking at 3+24 or 3+36, and 15k miles. Best I've seen is about £330/month. £8580 total - RRP £27k ~30%

The other option is the Skoda Octavia vRS Estate...... £219/month (3+24, 10k, 9p/mile excess) makes it £256/month. £6600 (inc excess) - RRP = £22k = ~29%

Is the Superb worth the extra £75/month??

Any other deals for something comparable to the Octavia/Superb?

NVS are still showing the S4 Saloon at £285 pm with £3600 down. That's just over £10k with 5k miles. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much more for 8k miles
With 8000 miles the amortised price is £450.30 per month. Seems a bit steep. I'm tempted to just buy a 2012ish S4 for about 16k instead. And hope the thing doesn't go wrong.
Good luck with that! Especially if you go Stronic and sports diff.

The S4 deals I would say are cheaper than depreciation based on experience of owning a B8 one from new but there you go...

was offered a Golf GT 2.0D, metallic, 5dr by Vertu. 24m, 15000m/annum

£1835.91 + 23x £203.99 INC Vat with 8p mile excess

Thought it was a pretty good deal but just not for me.

The guy at Vertu, John Kerry did seem to put a lot of effort in to bring the extra cost of mettalic paint down to about £8 month.

Not sure if Vertu show up on Contract Hire and Leasing but they seem to have some good deals, with a little bit of wiggle room too if you haggle.

John if you see this thanks for your efforts.

For those interested in Tiguans, as I have been searching about I came across Synter VW in Leeds who are offering them cheap as chips:

A 4Motion SE Nav DSG works out at £263 pm on 3+23
https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...

Normal SE Nav at £233 pm on 3+23
https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...

Wasnt hugely interested in them but hard to ignore at that price.

I managed to get Volvo in Huddersfield to match a deal in February this year on a xc90 but to but honest it was a fair bit better than the one posted earlier.
Care to share what your deal was and your contact? PM if preferred.
I posted it a while back, at the time the salesman asked I don't share with anyone because of the good price, on a business lease I'm paying £266 +vat Pm and £2000 + vat initial on 5k per year. The guy I dealt with left the dealership the week I collected it but he was called Carl Mara and he was moving over to a dealer over Manchester somewhere.

Intrigued to know what standard equipment you get on the Seat that you don't get on the Golf?

Edited to add... had a look at the brochure... DCC, is that it?

At the time of order, it was half alcantara/leather bucket seats (the golf R seats are atrocious for a car of that price/performance), winter pack, DCC, full LED lights and the whatever it's called full link connectivity and 19" wheels.

It's not bad in the current market but the last model was being leased for well under £200/mth at times (and that wasn't at the end of its life). Indeed it was headline offers of £89/mth that first got me looking at Tiguan.

Yeah, seats are a personal preference aren't they. As for the rest the only thing the Golf 7.5 lacks is DCC, but it does get things like the new Active Info Display, adaptive cruise control, 4Motion, and the new 7-speed DSG 'box. Horses for courses I'd say.

That Tiguan link says 214 inc vat on a 3+23 for the SE Nav. Looking for something like that for the Mrs, think a kumquat is going to get lucky today.

What's the success rate of people taking a "short" deal and having it extended once they get the car?

Looking at something that is 18 months & 5k - whilst I have asked for a quote for 24 months & 8k, it appears this might the standard promotion and ill pay more for the different profile, and the excess mileage is stupidly high. Have people taken this type of deal with the intention of increasing it at a sensible cost?

Deal is real, stock cars ready to go, I think they are all boggo Urano grey like my Alltrack. We'd want Caribbean blue and there's none of them nationwide showing so it would be a 12 week factory order but on the same deal price.

Very helpful chap on the phone, missed his name. Thanks for the heads up peld. beer

FFS, £800 cheaper than the deal I signed the paperwork for just yesterday (albeit with 10k miles).

The 4Motion DSG is now showing at £243.23.

I think that's very good - again compared to the old model there was a massive difference in cost adding DSG (and you couldn't have DSG then without 4Motion) - they were nudging £300/mth. Ended up buying ours and taking the PCP discount.

ETA: Just clicked on the links again and they're gone.
