indeed, S90
found some 3+23 deals on 8k that if a dealer can meet without the admin fee it'll work
Have you tried dealers from Whatcar?
https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/volvo/s9...

I got quote from FleetPrices, Andrew Heywood was very helpful. If you want 10K miles pa (instead of 8K), it's extra £426.59 over the term of leasing - 24 months. Excess miles are 17.82 pence per mile. So it's better to pre-pay if you know you will need them.

My quote included optional Winter Pack (£525) and metallic paint (£700) and price went up around £600 over the term, so not bad, you don't pay full price for options. I think Volvo actually discounts the lease a bit if you take metallic paint, due to better residuals. I noticed it on their configurator on website.

I also asked local dealer to match it but salesman didn't manage to get back to me yesterday (I was driving when he tried to contact me) and he's off today. If he can't match it, I can use Riverside dealer from Whatcar. I talked to them on Monday but thought I will try someone local first.

The only problem I have with S90, is lack of proper parking sensors or camera. You only get rear parking sensors as standard. Camera is £400, other options even more expensive. With 5m long car, it can be tricky to park it at multi storey car parks or turn on narrow ramps (vide Gatwick Short Stay). I have bird's eye view cameras on A8 right now and they can be helpful in such situations.

I think Audi A6 S-line would be a bit better in terms of options, if I could get the same price, but I think I missed it.

awesome, thanks. The Riverside quote matches my budget and includes metallic. Would ideally like the front sensors too myself. Will try and test drive this weekend at the local dealer and see if they match.

Yeah, seats are a personal preference aren't they. As for the rest the only thing the Golf 7.5 lacks is DCC, but it does get things like the new Active Info Display, adaptive cruise control, 4Motion, and the new 7-speed DSG 'box. Horses for courses I'd say.
If you've driven a golf R how it should be driven, you'd know the seats are one of the most complained about features. They're atrocious and I can't even think of one redeeming feature of them. They even look boring! So strange on such a good car. Yeah, it's a far newer car now. You need to tempt people into a few years old shape (given, with a few very MINOR tweaks a la facelift) with equipment that was optional at launch, hence the "at the time of ordering". All manufacturers do it. I mean...NAV was an optional extra at launch...

Indeed, I drive a Golf R as it should be driven on a daily basis and I have no complaints about the seats. I also read and contribute to a number of R/GTI forums and have read dozens of reviews and can honestly say that I can't recall anyone complaining about the seats.

Anyway, best not derail the thread, I think it's pretty evident the difference in spec is negligible between the two cars.

Got to be something wrong there: the PCM is the same regardless of whether a three-month or nine-month initial rental is selected, with a six-month initial coming in at £242.

Yeah, I did spot that, but thought it may have been a special deal etc.

3+24 and 8k = £265/month
3+24 and 10k = £219/month
9+24 and 10k = £219/month

I've requested confirmation of that pricing

Has anyone come across any hatchback golf r or hatch golf gtd deals yet?

I have received this deal on a similar. Audi s3 310. It seems a little much to me at c9k in comparison to what we paid for our golf r last time round.

Do you think we will see 6.5k -8k deals on a golf r or similar? Or is it just unrealistic in todays climate and i should nt have my hopes high?

How are we able to view the spec included within the black edition s Tronic? I can't seem to get to the page that displays packs and options included or excluded.

Cheers.

Yep, I have an order number from Seat Warrington. I can't find anywhere on Seat's website where I can track the car though.

Putting this out there, no on our website. These seem like a great value shorter term lease.

I got a proposal form, hummed over the weekend did i really need a new stupidly quick car, thought hell yeah i do and ordered a mystery blue one with adaptive cruise control option ( £255pm with this option ) on monday, paid my £250 deposit to secure the car smile - confusingly this amount is refunded when i collect the car and they actually give you a check to deposit into your bank as this is the dealers contribution to the initial deposit so you only pay "£250 for the deposit not the full amount SEAT finance will actually charge you ( bit confusing I know and no mention of when the admin fee is taken ) also something to note is the above prices don't included delivery ( I didn't ask how much as i can get a train to the dealer in under 2hrs and its a 5 min walk from the train station to the dealer, although IMG state on the whatcar advert that they will reimburse you £100 towards travelling expenses, this is not the case with this particular deal they stated ) delivery is expected to be October now. Brilliant deal, thanks to the original OP who posted it ! Can't see this deal on their website now though and they did mention that they think seat was going to pull the promotion early due to the number of orders.

I think that's everything ha. Dan

Thanks mate. Yes no mention of the 100quid contribution but i will probably make a weekend of it when i collect, excuse for a short trip with the misses. Will probably take the train up etc as im down im the south east.

Have paid my deposit now but yet to confirm spec and colour. Think im gonna go with DSG in white with winter pack and upgraded sound system. Everything else i would want comes as stock i think so its pretty well specified to begin with.

Deals from dealers are better, because they have 8K miles as standard and are £10 cheaper per month (average) with 24 month lease.
