Anyone gone through with the Leon Cupra 300 deal and had it confirmed?
I got a proposal form, hummed over the weekend did i really need a new stupidly quick car, thought hell yeah i do and ordered a mystery blue one with adaptive cruise control option ( £255pm with this option ) on monday, paid my £250 deposit to secure the car smile - confusingly this amount is refunded when i collect the car and they actually give you a check to deposit into your bank as this is the dealers contribution to the initial deposit so you only pay "£250 for the deposit not the full amount SEAT finance will actually charge you ( bit confusing I know and no mention of when the admin fee is taken ) also something to note is the above prices don't included delivery ( I didn't ask how much as i can get a train to the dealer in under 2hrs and its a 5 min walk from the train station to the dealer, although IMG state on the whatcar advert that they will reimburse you £100 towards travelling expenses, this is not the case with this particular deal they stated ) delivery is expected to be October now. Brilliant deal, thanks to the original OP who posted it ! Can't see this deal on their website now though and they did mention that they think seat was going to pull the promotion early due to the number of orders.

I think that's everything ha. Dan
After they phoned and you provided bank details for the deposit, have you heard anything else?

I have paid deposit this week and received an email stating finance accepted but nothing else.

Deals from dealers are better, because they have 8K miles as standard and are £10 cheaper per month (average) with 24 month lease.
Lol if this is true. "Better not call Paul"...

What's the excess mileage charge on these?

So a different deal? This was making people aware of shorter terms if wanted.

Do you have a link/name of dealership? Do you happen to know whether they do 1+ leases?

All info on page 149 already. I don't know about 1 + 23, you have to call and ask.

I've had an email from Freedom Vehicle Contracts offering a S90 D4 Momentum for £2400 down then 17 x £149.73 for 5k p.a. mileage.

Your 12+17 deal plus admin fee works out at about £5750.

CVL's deal plus admin fee is just over £5000: https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/...

Have you tried dealers from Whatcar?
https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/volvo/s9...

I got quote from FleetPrices, Andrew Heywood was very helpful. If you want 10K miles pa (instead of 8K), it's extra £426.59 over the term of leasing - 24 months. Excess miles are 17.82 pence per mile. So it's better to pre-pay if you know you will need them.

My quote included optional Winter Pack (£525) and metallic paint (£700) and price went up around £600 over the term, so not bad, you don't pay full price for options. I think Volvo actually discounts the lease a bit if you take metallic paint, due to better residuals. I noticed it on their configurator on website.

I also asked local dealer to match it but salesman didn't manage to get back to me yesterday (I was driving when he tried to contact me) and he's off today. If he can't match it, I can use Riverside dealer from Whatcar. I talked to them on Monday but thought I will try someone local first.
Leatherad Volvo came up £300 more than broker, so it's the same in total as Fleet Prices with their admin fee. If someone is interested in local delivery for a bit more than cheapest dealer up North, I talked to Paul.

Same initial at Central (CVL) but £144/mth. £180 fee. They have some other cars on 1+ so it might be possible

It's absurd wanting to lease the Leon 300 when I do a good 12k miles/annum, but boy am I tempted. Would be so much more enjoyable than something more economical...

It's absurd to commute in Audi S8 on M25 and in London ... but it was cheap on a deal, so ... Life is short, enjoy it. (if you can afford it)

FYI I am currently getting 38mpg from my Cupra 290 on a 60 mile round trip A road commute. If I have fun it reduces to high 20's/low 30's.

In my wife's C250d I get around 52mpg same route & driving. But no fun possible in her car!

Not a major difference IMO smile

So, I ordered my Golf R estate on PCH with Sytner VW Warrington last week, after submitting an enquiry via the What Car? site. They said they had cars allocated to them and that they had a black one left, which I ordered over the phone. I have a signed order form and can see that VWFS have carried out a credit check and I was told that "the finance is in place" and was given an estimated delivery date of 18th September (build week 31).

Today the dealer has told me that they were never actually allocated that car, and now neither they nor VW can supply a car to me and that there's nothing I, they, or VW can do about it.

Surely the signed order form counts as a contract? I'm absolutely livid. Apparently 3 others are in the same boat with Sytner.

Exactly my thoughts. Lee from IMG confirmed they can offer 10k pa for £259pm or 12k pa for £269 so I've sent in my finance app & driving license and wait to hear.
