I've just talked to Phil Hodges at IMG and they have offered for 10k miles a year, for a 5 door with metallic, no other options - £259/month x 24 months + £178.80 admin fee. In total that is £6,394.80 or £266.45/month. They ask for a £250 deposit. Delivery is at £1.50/mile or they can pick you up from Manchester airport or a local station.

List is £31,030 (inc. metallic paint), discounted via Drivethedeal is £24,316. So it is 20.6% of list or 26.3 % of discounted price.

The deal is across the country on until end of Q3 i.e. end September and there are no limits on the number of orders. However, delivery is 4-5 months as these are factory order only.

I have also just talked to my local (ish) dealer (Vospers in Plymouth) and they will match this deal - they say they will only make £100, but it goes towards their Q3 figures. Obviously it is a better for me to only have to travel to Plymouth...

Am thinking about it...

Evening All, long time lurker first post...

Those Seat Leon Cupra deals got the better of me, just signed up with IMG Warrington on a 1+23 17k £294 manual 5 door inc metallic blue - October collection.

Thanks to all on here, got one of the cheap polo gti deals 18 months ago (hope it doesn't rattle like the polo, great little car but didn't expect that) thought that was good this not much more £.. more miles and 50% more power....
hehe

Agree, i saw mystic blue under a dull sky and it looked very 'cheap'. Grey is a good option
The Mystery blue looks good on the website, but the grey seems like a safe bet.

Yep, I have upgraded to the Sport as it still comes cheaper than Skoda Superb sportline and only few beers more then Skoda Octavia Scout..a lot of quattro fun for your money..and now they all come with quattro on demand as well..

No options, adds cost on a lease and comes well specced imo, DSG added £39 per month, old school me lol

What does Amortised mean?
Well, we use it to mean the total cost of the deal divided by the number of months, so it's the overall cost per month.

So, say a deal is 100 a month on a 9+23 with a 300 arrangement fee. That's (9+23)*100 + 300 / 24. Ie 3500 / 24 = 145.83 per month 'amortised'.

It's a way of assessing the true monthly cost including fees rather than just looking at the headline monthly rate.

I thought the spec was pretty good to be fair, but I find it mad to order a car without even driving it

I went for the DSG, given I vowed never to go back to a fwd car I thought I'd make it at least a lazy option for when it's wet and the Cupra struggles to put its power down.

I can see you point tbh, however on my last 2 leases I never drove the m135i and polo gti, and happy as with both...read up on, then had a look at local dealer etc and this method has worked so far.... fingers crossed 3rd time lucky thumbup

Good to see the Cupra deals appear again.

There's a thread in the VAG section for last years Cupra leasing crew cool

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Could be worth checking out for info and first hand reviews of the car...

Nabbed an A4 1.4 S Line for £6115 over 24 months for 10k miles/annum. Pretty happy.
Where from mate?? Can you share the details please?
What is the wait?

cheers
Fleet department of the Vindis group. Next most competitive were Marriott then Sytner. A fair bit of haggling involved, but got there in the end. Registration and delivery the end of September. Finance sorted in under five minutes.

Deal still works out a few pennies more than the Cupra 300 offers, but it's a nicer place to sit in traffic.
Do you mind sharing the breakdown and contact number for the dealer, so I have some figures to negotiate with.
Also here @ roughly same price.
