It's a stunning machine the Giulia! I had a look into this deal but the only thing is excess mileage seems to be 19p per mile?! Carculated covered this here:

Ha. See bottom of previous page where I posted about moving my lease on! There are a couple I've found: http://www.swap-a-lease.co.uk/ and http://www.takemylease.co.uk/. Take my lease is free as far as I can tell, swap a lease is a paid-for service.

I may experiment with the free one to start with. My vwfs lease has to be transferred to a limited company, not an individual, so check your t's and c's.

Edit: Having had a closer look at both those sites, they aren't at all busy and there are very few cars on there, so I don't think this is a "thing" yet in the UK and I'll just have to dump mine and pay the 65% of remaining payments as a penalty.

Cheers. Yup, doesn't look like they are that active. I'm not in any rush so I won't be dumping mine. Happy to keep it but it won't get as much use so seems a bit silly

Off topic, but is the 4C a big let down then?
Far from it. It's a brilliant car! I'm using it less these days after having used it as a daily driver for a while. I thought I could make a two car combo work but it's starting to annoy me so guess a sensible all rounder is the way forward. I also worry about it when I bring it in to work as I work in a slightly sketchy part of Leeds. If I can't find anyone to take it on then I'll keep hold of it, just seems silly having it parked up most of the time.

Post the deal in here someone may take you up on it.
I got it on a 10+23 at £399.95. Had it for nearly 2 months so 21 months left. Would be looking to get some of my initial payment back.
How much of the initial are you looking at getting back and what is the yearly mileage?

Hi, anyone able to help me with a deal for the good lady?

She is looking for a hatch, must be in stock or very quick delivery (less than 6 weeks). Amortises to £250 a month a max, although £220 is preferable. Would prefer a bit of power, petrol and manual.

So far she is keen on a Cooper 1.5, Abarth 1.4 etc, anyone see any good deals?

I have found a couple for a cooper but without any packs, chili pack would be ideal, pepper pack ok. But finding nothing decent in stock. Any help would be appreciated.

This VW Polo Gti seems to tick a lot of your boxes albeit is a 3 year lease rather than a 2 year lease. It also seems to amortise to roughly the figures you were looking for - https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...

This one also has the DSG which is an expensive option so a car with a manual may be cheaper still.

List price on a 5dr DSG is £21,465 so if you ignore the 3rd year monthly payments then total cost (inc VAT and fee) for the initial 2 years would be £5242.74. This would mean a cost of 24.4% against list price which isn't too bad.

May also be worth contacting a VW dealer as they may match the deal and you could hopefully get rid of the £199 doc processing fee which would make the deal better still.

Sorry for breaking the rules of the thread... But have you considered financing a nearly-new one?

We looked for a good lease deal for a decent spec Cooper recently and couldn't find anything. But all of the packs/options depreciate very quickly, and at 2 years old you can get £6,000 worth of options for barely a £500 premium. From what I've seen they don't depreciate too fast after the first couple of years, so your amortised costs should be decent.

The Chili pack is essential IMO, it adds some important features. The Media XL pack is also fantastic.
There's loads of approved-used ones to choose from, and you can extend the manufacturers warranty so you're covered when it's older than 3 years, as well as the very well priced free servicing pack (which was included in ours until 2020). In our case they delivered for free (as well as giving a decent discount) 400 miles away, so you can look nationally.

For example: 2 years old, Chili & Media XL packs, free servicing for another 3 years, metallic, armrest, etc: https://www.approvedusedminis.co.uk/approvedminis/...

Sorry, let the lynching commence getmecoat

Friends just picked up a new cooper convertible, due to low sales the dealership apprently could let ten cars go on 0% apr. They got theirs for no deposit and £250 a month on 8k miles

Tell you what there must be some poor saps out there who'll buy anything. Just heard an ad on the radio for an Astra SRi on PCH for just 215/m plus initial deposit over 3 years. As the ad progressed I wondered how much the deposit would be, I thought it would probably be a 9+ deal so in the region of 2k...

When it came to the end of the ad and the fast talking t's and c's lo and behold the deposit was.... wait for it... £4945! So that's a 23+ 35 'deal'...

Where do I sign? hehe

Edit. Found it!

Wow. double wow. The world now spins around marketing - if you can market a turd well enough, dumb people will flock to buy it. #smallvictoriesmyarse

Wow that is shocking! Pay around 78% of the 'new price' over 3 years! Then they will probably stick it on the used forecourt for £8000.

That is pretty daft as some of the best deals around £200 per month have been on the Astra's recently.

Anyone looking for a nippy little hatch?

Brand new Seat Ibiza - 115ps FR - not much discount available on these at present so works out at just under 25% amortised.

Planning on picking one up for the missus provided she stops using her car as a mobile tackroom (horse widowers will know what I am talking about!).

Anyone managed to get the S90 deal direct from a main dealer? I requested a formal quote from one a few days ago but have yet to hear anything.

Lots of discount available from Broadspeed and DriveTheDeal already if cash is an option. Can't see the pic you posted but

**Astra featured within the TV Commercial is Astra SRi Nav 1.4i 150PS Turbo in Lava Red with 18 inch bi-colour alloys, IntelliLux headlights with £5,474 advance rental then 47 monthly rentals of £238. Excess miles over contracted mileage of 32,000 over 48 months charged at 10.46 pence per mile. Personal contract hire offer, you will not own the car.
Almost 17k over 4 years for an astra on 8k miles/yr.

fk me sideways. RRP is ~18k.

Moral of the story, 99% of lease deals are cack. Make sure you're in the 1%

I contacted the dealer from few pages but the quote was approximately £30pm more than the one mentioned on that post.
