Not sure what everyone thinks to these 3 series deals. Look pretty good to me!

Fairy hefty deposit but seems a lot of car for the money?

Our RFL and break down is already included and if you include maintenance and tyres you have nothing more to worry about and so can guarantee that what you pay monthly is exactly what your vehicle is and going to cost you.
I'm aware of that and we lease our main car (we just wanted "an SUV", so it was easy to find a good deal), but when we wanted something specific (high spec 5dr Cooper D) I couldn't find any good lease deals but did find really good approved-used deals on high spec MINIs. 4 new premium tyres, manufacturers warranty and breakdown, free servicing, £0 RFL - for a decently discounted price with free delivery... IMO it wasn't worth paying a hefty premium for a lease with the same spec as ours. But yes, it's not brand new and there's a risk it'll be worth less than expected in a couple of years so we may still lose out.

Your search is broader than ours as you're considering a few different models, so hopefully you'll find a good lease deal on one smile
Yes lease is best for the opportunist . Having a broad range and patience helps to find a good deal however good deals are easy to find if you use the right sites. What car is very helpful . VW seem to be a good bet for a decent deal it seems. I’ve already ordered mine but still like to read what’s about

Anyone managed to get the S90 deal direct from a main dealer? I requested a formal quote from one a few days ago but have yet to hear anything.
I contacted the dealer from few pages but the quote was approximately £30pm more than the one mentioned on that post.

I've tried a few Volvo dealers and not one has quoted anything near their own advertised price.

Look good to me. What's the spec like on the M Sport these days, is Pro Nav and Met paint standard?

Metallic yes, Pro Nav no - it cost me 20 quid a month on a 2y term. It sure is pretty but has abysmal routing and I wouldnt bother again

Deal quoted is decent
Its about 800 more over the term than my Touring lease from this time last year which I thought exceptional, the new car tax 40k threshold will swallow some of this of course

Cheers

It's jaw-droppingly bad, that.

The worst bit is that this appears to be a manufacturer campaign, not just some rogue dealer. http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/offers-finance/cars_offe...

However, OTR price on that SRi Nav is over £20K, plus the "desirable options" add another £1800 or so

Broadspeed are offering 20% discount on those as well...
Will I be lynched for posting a used car here?

https://www.motorpoint.co.uk/vehicleadvert/vauxhal...

Less than a year old, and £10,799 plus admin. A personal loan on that car for four years, to own it outright, albeit without some of the options, would be £123 per month with the same deposit.
I would never want to own outright a vauxhall. The whole point of lease is to be able to afford to drive a more premium brand that is also less likely to break down or cause quality of build issues.

An extremely dated view and pretty much a total myth today.

Vauxhall now has better reliability than every single major German car brand.

Better than VW, BMW, MB, Audi and Porsche.

For model comparison, the Vauxhall Astra beats the Audi A3 for reliability.

If you take a closer look . The only good performer , in fact excellent ! is the Agila which is COMPLETELY swaying the average to a better score for Vauxhall. Indeed you need to look at individual models for an accurate picture but id still have an A3 over a Vauxhall Astra any day of the week. http://www.reliabilityindex.com/reliability/search...

Worth looking at. Slightly more expensive but better spec car and, arguably, engine.

Both invalid deals I'm afraid. Seems there was a price-hike on Monday night (after they were released on Friday) to correct an error, but some brokers haven't bothered putting them up...

Just to let people know a little about the Guilia Veloce offers.

Coming in at under/around 25%. Donnelly Alfa Belfast matched Beechdale Derby.

Wanted and quoted with Misano Blue metallic making it 6+23 at £325.

Earlier that day I took a test in the Volvo S90. A stunning car, loaded with impressive tech and a beautiful place to sit. Problem being it didn't feel much different to my Citroen C6 Exclusive.

At Alfa I test drove the 1 showroom Misano they had. The "infotainment" and opulence aren't in the same league as the S90, but the drive is on another planet altogether!

Our minds were made up!

Problem being if anyone wants to spec their Guilia Veloces (as I did) the September 30th registration date will now be almost impossible to make. I wanted the yellow calipers paid option (+7 p/m) over the £325 Misano price above and free standard option on Tan leather. The Veloce will never be supported/subsidised to the same extent again after this quarter.

I ended up signing for the showroom Misano Blue with black leather and black calipers which they have now parked up for me inside. Took a little convincing as it had 49 miles on it and the black leather, but the missus didn't like the tan anyway (in another Guilia), and I guess I'll just have to convince myself those 49 miles didn't exist! (Well, I did about 9 of them!)

Going to register and collect a day before the September 30th cut off, in order to minimise the overlap on our other lease, the C4 Cactus Flair (which has been an unqualified success, and will be missed in it's own way!).

Moral of this story being, the Guilia Veloce is a dream machine, and time is short for anyone wanting a good deal on one.

Thanks for that - I'm looking at the same car direct from SEAT.

SEAT are more expensive, but no fees, and have the convenience of letting me keep my current Leon until the new one has been delivered, which probably wouldn't happen if I went via a broker.

Anyone seen any decent deals for premium (Audi/MB/BMW) hatch or small/medium SUV. I'm thinking A Class, B Class, GLA, 1 or 2 series, A3, Q3. Only 5K/year needed and Nav is key one in terms of options.

Looking for my parents who've decided they want to buy a C class company car we have going back. The person that took it out ticked lots of boxes and has done sub 20k miles, so the settlement value isn't actually too bad (below webuyanycar, without considering any of the options). Which has made it tempting for my parents (I took it on and gave it to them for the remainder of the lease when the employee left). But given the extremely low mileage they do, and the fact my Mum's usually reluctant to drive much bigger then a mid size hatch, I'm not sure it's the most sensible decision.

Thinking with the recently publicised slump for the car industry there could be a better lease option or pre-reg option (they don't need finance).
