Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 4)
Discussion
Thanks, sent the link over and they like the look of that. They're going to drop into Audi to have a look.
Looks like there's a new model coming in 2018, but this is only a 2 year lease so no big deal (plus Audi appear to go for the 911 approach, each refresh virtually indistinguishable from the last ).
Any other options they should consider?
I've seen a 4 year Evoque at £16k over term and GLC at £12k. Concerned they may be too big, but on the other hand she might cope better with a bigger car if she's sitting up higher. Just wary of them getting a car that she's reluctant to drive, leaving my Dad stuffed
Essentially most of the suspects seem to be available on similar to this at £4k year, I think 3 would probably be sweet spot for them, but of course the deal dictates. Also they are both retired, I presume that may make the finance a little more difficult, although they could pay a higher up front (they don't actually need the finance)?

Or try IMG Warrington if you fancy a Seat Leon Cupra 5dr for £249 per month with an initial payment of £249, based on 8k miles PA... c. £6k over two years.
Dangled the Alfa Veloce deal, wouldn't mind giving that a run when they borrow my 6GC But its gotta be one of the "premium" german brands I think. So sent over a few Hot Audi deals mentioned earlier in the thread

The GLC isn't huge, but it is bigger than the Q3/Evoque. What about a GLA?Looks like there's a new model coming in 2018, but this is only a 2 year lease so no big deal (plus Audi appear to go for the 911 approach, each refresh virtually indistinguishable from the last ).

It's the 1.4 engine but it's not underpowered with 150 bhp...

My uncle has the GLC so they have a decent idea of its size. The issue is essentially my Mum who's spent her life in small/medium hatchbacks. That was fine when we all did reasonable mileage. But now we barely do 3-4k/year in two cars, having a third just for her makes no sense. He quite liked the GLA when he was at the MB dealer dropping the C Class for service. The reason I mentioned the GLC is pricing wise they almost seem the same :/ Probably wishful thinking, but hoping perhaps being higher up in a SUV would overcome her concerns with bigger cars. Also that GLC deal seems to have parktronic which may help her, if she can remember how to use it

Ok, also not a hatchback but how about the A4 black edition? c. £6.6k for two years with the tech pack (virtual cockpit etc.) That's almost £34k worth of metal! https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/aud...

Sounds like a great deal, but has the same alarm bells ringing as the current plan to buy the C Class. They've had the C Class for a year and she hasn't driven it once :/ Says she will, but never does. Guess the site lines/length/etc all seem odd to her. I think the most sensible option is stick with a Hatch or smaller SUV. Or go bigger SUV rather then Saloon, as it will still feel Hatch like to her so more chance she'll "snap out of it" :/It's the 1.4 engine but it's not underpowered with 150 bhp...

Look good to me. What's the spec like on the M Sport these days, is Pro Nav and Met paint standard?
Metallic yes, Pro Nav no - it cost me 20 quid a month on a 2y term. It sure is pretty but has abysmal routing and I wouldnt bother againDeal quoted is decent
Its about 800 more over the term than my Touring lease from this time last year which I thought exceptional, the new car tax 40k threshold will swallow some of this of course
Cheers
They've got a couple with the M-Sport Plus package ready to go if anyone was interested.

I would never want to own outright a vauxhall. The whole point of lease is to be able to afford to drive a more premium brand that is also less likely to break down or cause quality of build issues.
An extremely dated view and pretty much a total myth today.
Vauxhall now has better reliability than every single major German car brand.
Better than VW, BMW, MB, Audi and Porsche.
For model comparison, the Vauxhall Astra beats the Audi A3 for reliability.

If you take a closer look . The only good performer , in fact excellent ! is the Agila which is COMPLETELY swaying the average to a better score for Vauxhall. Indeed you need to look at individual models for an accurate picture but id still have an A3 over a Vauxhall Astra any day of the week. http://www.reliabilityindex.com/reliability/search...
Stop trying to sway the picture to fit the bias Edited by rich146 on Tuesday 22 August 13:11

Vauxhall today matches or beats all German brands for reliability. The notion that German brands are reliable is just not true.

I've been comparing to the GLC deal here:http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Mercedes-GLC-MY17....
5k miles, 36 months = £2,872.69 + £319.19 month = £14.3k or £4.7k/year
The cheapest GLA deals i've seen so far (although 2 years rather then 3 years) come upto around £4k/year.

You challenged the topic so I give my opinion. Let’s move on please.
BMW 3 series GT deal which seems to come in around the 25% mark - business only though possibly as not showing in personal deals.

Decent deals on in stock Merc C350e Sport with premium pack and metallic,10k miles, PCH inc vat:
1+23: £363.84
3+23: £334.74
6+23: £298.88
9+23: £269.99
£41775 list price means the 9+23 deal works out at roughly 21%. Not including the plugin hybrid grant I know but a rough figure!
Prices from Yes lease but Fast Bug can do these deals without the £360 admin fee as it's MBFS.
