Sheepshanks: yes it was Affinity Leasing. I had a 140 bhp Astra Elite off them for 12m. Went back in May. It was actually a PCP but sold to me as a lease.
I think now Jet Vehicle Leasing works out cheaper. I havent replaced my lease car , currently making do with my 52 plate Forester

Did anyone have any thoughts on this? Not many good Kodiaq deals around.
Since launch, the Kodiaqs have not been competitive I'm afraid. When I checked the figures a few weeks ago, the lease cost was actually identical to the current PCP finance package. The popularity and interest in the Kodiaq explains why we're not seeing any hot deals.

There's a slim chance it could be reduced when the Tiguan XL (?) is launched.

My wife was hoping for a Kodiaq but we ran out of time waiting, so have a well-specced Superb Wagon on the way for less.

He said "please". That's quite calm by most people's standards.

Anyway, here's the PCP thread:

Do any of these companies facilitate scrappage scheme discounts? Or if only ordered from a dealer?

I disagree with this, I purchased a Nissan Leaf 2 years ago through a PCP deal that I posted on one of the volumes of the lease threads and a lot of people jumped on the band wagon.

I did my 2 years and 20K miles in it and handed it back - just like a lease deal the deal Was £4K over 2 years. I would hope that people posted these blinding deals when found regardless of whether it is PCP or lease, maybe a title change is in order...

Not on a lease, maybe using a PCP.

Thanks PCP thread dead no use since mid 2016.....
All I was doing was posting in my mind what I thought was a good deal for a 335d a lot better than PCH deals at a quick look..I stand to be corrected though as have not full done figures

Audi have signed up to the car scrappage scheme: https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/scrappage-incen...

Is there any merit to contacting fleet services about renegotiating a PCH offer based on a trade-in, or does this make sense solely for outright purchases?

Looking for some advise on PCH quote I have.... trying to work out if its a good deal.

from Skoda Main dealer

SKODA OCTAVIA ESTATE 2.0TSI 245 VRS DSG
£2k Initial
23x £326
15k annual millage

lead in is about 17 weeks but they have a few stock models with some extras on meaning an extra £10 a month.

I cant really reduce millage.

Any advise would be appreciate on how it stacks up against comparable models/deals

Very unlikely they will better the deal as scrappage is for for retail deals only but never hurts to ask!

So just a thought on when considering whats a great deal or not for leases vs buying:

I've picked up that if the total lease cost is roughly 20-25% of the retail price, that's a good deal?

But does this vary with length of lease deal, or should it apply only to x+23 leases?

Is there any consideration for depreciation % on a bought car... some do much better than others on the depreciation game. How about the discounts and deals a dealer will offer off the list price?
