That price is excluding VAT
Doh !!

Although, in my defence what a stupid way of listing prices - having separate lists for PCH and BCH but listing exactly the same price in both, as they both exclude VAT.
Still not a bad deal even when considering VAT

Hi all,

Looking for a bit of feedback on this deal (all figures inc VAT):

Audi S4 Avant

6 + 23, 10k miles P.A.

Initial rental: £2377

23 monthlies: £396

Excess ppm: £0.13

No fee, as direct through Audi.

Total cost: £11485 - works out as just under 25% of the 'RRP'.

Now I know there were some stellar S4 deals a while back but unfortunately I can't seem to find them to compare. Does anyone know how this compares to those previous ones/think this represents good value?

That's our matrix, and yes it is annoying that it doesn't calculate that VAT!

I'm not sure if they still have it, but I had a £10.7K total 24 month, 10K p/a offer from Select Car Leasing (contact: Rosalyn) on a S4 Avant. But delivery required for this month. I couldn't take it as won't ditch my car until late next month at the earliest.

Who's this through can I ask?

I think motorlet also have the Saloon at £11.2K for the same details. My contact there is Josh Mills.

Hope that helps

On the subject of Skoda deals, this one from Simpsons on an Octavia VRs seems decent - £244 amortised on an unusual length 30 month contract. £990 deposit, 29 x £219 per month, 10k p.a. http://www.simpsonsskoda.co.uk/pch-offers/vrs-990/

My sister has a GTD coming to the end of lease on the 30th of this month, she's chased VWFS & BCA about getting the car checked prior to return but they don't reply to emails or have any info over the phone, how should she proceed if the car isn't checked before the end of lease? Is a lease car not assessed before the lease runs out & then assessed on the day of collection??

Thanks for those leads!

The deal I mentioned is through Eastbourne Audi, they had one stock car left which I just missed out on. That deal is based on a new factory order, expected delivery December/January.

For BCA I rang 0344 875 3480 then asked to be put through to the appropriate dept. Got an appointment for inspection and collection. You might want to have a week or so between them if you need repairs doing, or have them right at end of lease if you return it as is.

Cheers, she finally got through to someone who knew what they were doing at vwfs, transferred her through to BCA, car being assessed next Tuesday & collected on Wednesday, it's only got scuffed wheels so all should be good, her new car arrives Friday so worked out quite well.

That's interesting because BCA told me today that they don't have any collection appointments earlier than 02/10, in whole country. Even though yesterday they had one for 28/09. Had to buy temporary insurance cover for my existing car, to keep it insured for 3 days after I collect a new car.

UK demand for personal contract hire (PCH) car-lease deals grew a hefty +36% YoY in Q2 2017. Overall market grew just +1% YoY. Leasing has become much more popular the past 4-5 years.

Interested to know how much scuffed alloys cost though since these are diamond cuts on the GTD.

As per previous posts: £36 per wheel. I suggest reading one of the leasing threads on VW Subforum https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...

My GTD is with Hitachi Capital. Do they have the same rate?

Thanks for the link. Will check that out.

In that case, damage fees are probably different.
