Anyone know the situation with the Veloce and the wheels shown in all the press releases...

http://fcauthority.com/2017/04/uk-alfa-romeo-giuli...

I went to an Alfa dealer and was told they should be available to order with the Veloce very soon but when I spoke to Unity they didn't know anything about them.
same here. Alfa dealer said they should be on the car config very very soon. But alfa oxford know nothing about this

Looks quite good doesn't it?
Where’d you find that?
Sorry, that's with Marshalls matching the NVS quote with no admin fee.

Adding metallic paint to the Veloce bumps up the price by about £600 going by the conversation I just had:

8k miles
3+23
£300.77 Inc vat

10k miles
3+23
£317.92

Excess mileage is 20.2p a mile, so pretty steep, but still seems cheaper to go for 8k and pay the difference based on numbers above.

Needs to be ordered by end of Sept
Delivery expected end of Nov/Dec

I'm quite tempted, but can't decide what to do!
not sure it does:

2,000 @ 20.2p = £404
over 12 months comes in at £33.67 additional a month

Looks quite good, after a similar deal myself.
Page has gone. How much was it?

Same dilema - pull the trigger or wait till the new month.

DOnt think i would be going for any options - bigger wheels look nice but happy on the standard wheels.

Looking at my spreadsheet - - 8k miles works out the cheapest on 6+23 and as you pointed out its cheaper to pay for the excess miles rather than 10 K

Lots of discussion about the Veloce wheels on alfaowner.com seems likely they will be coming.
I think it wise to get these deals on Veloce while they are there. I suspect it's a marketing strategy to get some cars out on the road, cheaper than advertising or giving them away to hire fleets. It has to end soon.
My order went in two weeks back with Unity Oxford.

Ha ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Test drove one at the weekend and liked it, nice place to sit, very fast and great handling. As another poster mentioned it's very quiet for a sub 6 sec car which is a bit of a let down. My other issue being it doesn't really stand out, just looks like a standard car and I'm not prepared to pay for options on a lease car to make it look better.

I really like it and it would make sense, but I'm worried some better deals may appear in Q4. Well we've got a couple of days to make our minds.

exactly the same here. I just wish when i hit the lovely start button on the wheel that it made a rumble, let me know that it had 300bhp. instead its just flat, lifeless engine noise, even at the limiter, nothing...WHYYYYY

if it would have had a little bit of character I would have signed instantly. Now im holding fire to see what else may be out there.

What other cars are you hoping for ?

Very cheap that, bargain cheap in fact. (EDIT... plus VAT though, so not that cheap actually)
Doubt its in stock like they say though, my understanding is they are only bringing in the ones higher up the range at the moment.

Had this name on various forums for a while, goes back to the time I had three 'Veloces', which come the end of this year I will again smile
(The 'V' in GTV stands for Veloce)

Unfortuantly the other car on our short list where we are looking for a deal is a high spec tiguan- as a family car so even less exciting than veloce.

M140i, another round of super cheap Golf R's, perhaps a fast Audi.

..so what is the best 1+23 deal out there that anyone has seen??
What sort of car and mileage are you looking for?
Generally very flexible, value for money is probably the key factor, long commute so decent strong diesel engine would be great. I do spend around 250£ in diesel in my super economical Skoda octavia mk2 (60mpg real life without fail) and I could charge electric car at work for free, so even that may be an option?
£250 a month at £1.20/litre = ~46 gallons.
46 gallons * 60mpg = 2778 miles per month = 33k miles per year.

Is that correct?

There are very few 30k deals posted (or on the market?) and those that are on the websites are usually somewhat more expensive than the bargain-tastic 8k/2yr offers that pop up in this thread.

For example, Octavia is well supported at the moment and has pretty low pricing for what is a fairly substantial car that's likely to be good for long distance commuting.
https://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/Skoda...

The 1.0 TSi version is cheapest and only £165.54 on a 3+23/8k/2yr lease on this website, but up it to 35k miles (to cover a very small amount of non-commuting use as well) and it becomes £273.91/month on a 3+23.
https://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/Skoda...

EDIT: Actually, now I've written it down, £273 seems cheap for that mileage - the 1.6TDi is £458 on the same basis!

Did anyone order one of those BMW 4 Gran Coupes in the recent deal?

If so, and if you've received it, can you tell me if they are the facelift version?

Not a fan of diesels but this seems like a good deal - sorry if it has been posted recently (couldn't see it)

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...

Mercedes E220D AMG
10K Miles
£325 on a 3+23
+ £240 fees

=£362 per month - just over 43p per mile

Edit - also noticed the equivalent C Class - C220d AMG is the same price! So the E class does look good (supposedly stock deals about -so colours may vary)
