Not linked in any way to this company, but this might work for some who only need a car for a short time, it seems to be a sort of halfway house between car hire and PCH.
As far as I can see the minimum term is 2 months, and then a rolling monthly contract after that.

https://wagonex.com

Prices are of course much more than fixed term leasing, but cheaper than rental (in this country anyway).

Thats quite a nice concept. Looks like they're trying to include insurance. Part of the reason behind the high pricing might be mileage - 2k miles per month. Looks like the minimum term is actually 1 month. Delivery 1-5 days.

Just got an email for 'Audi A4 Avant 1.4T FSI S Line 5dr (Leather/Alc)', 1+23, 10k miles, £256.69 pm inc VAT from 21stcenturymotors - seems like a good deal.
Just for comparison's sake, CVL have the Black Edition Saloon on a pretty decent deal too - £2400 up front then £174/month inc VAT on 5k p/a. Works out at £5735 over the term before fees.

Deal above on the S Line Avant works out at £6161 over the term before fees, but obviously double the mileage. Reckon they'd be about the same price at same mileage.

Pre-Registered Mercedes A45 4Matic AMG 5Dr Hatch Auto With Metallic
9+23 10K PA £358.99 Inc VAT

http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Mercedes-A45-A45-A...

Not massively cheap, and a hefty upfront payment, but it seems deals on these are relatively uncommon.

Why 8 weeks lead time if it’s pre-reg :/

Because it takes them that long to get their act together?

£2400 + (23 x £174) ? My calculator must be broken as it says £6402 not £5735 biggrin

Still a good price, you got a link? Parents about to sign up for Arteon with same deposit and £185/month. Maybe they’d prefer the A4

Looks that way smile

Called them and price is same for lower mileage frown Couldn’t explain why a pre-reg takes 8 weeks. But said they’d be 17 reg and arrive in December :/

Registered while still in Germany waiting for transport? Or maybe shipped from some remote location? If Fastbug can't match it, maybe it was broker order or some finance house?

Still waiting for Q4 hot hatch deals!

Have cast my net quite wide looking for either an M140i, Golf GTi or Golf R depending on budget and would even settle for a 120d but can't seem to find anything at reasonable prices yet.

Yes, that's with vat. Winter pack is around £500, at least on S90, probably similar price on XC90. Much cheaper than whole Pro package.

Think someone posted a CLA45 AMG deal, the next model up, for roughly the same money, a day or two ago.

Ohh I missed that. The CLA (or GLA) is actually the car they were after if they could find a decent deal. Do you know who it was with by any chance? I've skimmed back but can't seem to find it.

They weren't very forth coming with answers, just that they should be at dealer ~Dec. Think reg'd while still in Germany waiting to get on a ship would be most likely of the two scenarios. Or they got on the wrong boat biggrin

Surely if they were actually in the UK by 31/08 they could get em to customers in less the 8 weeks. Even in London traffic isn't that bad (yet).
