I have been searching for a while for a good Mercedes C class lease deal for 24 months, anybody aware of any good C class deals out there? Thank you
Same here currently looking for a decent city car and a C-Class think we have sorted the city car now but interested in seeing any good c-class ones. Are you after a particular model or just c-class in general?
Wife fancies the Coupe but I think the better deals seem to be on the saloon.
Pantheon Leasing has a good (for Mercedes) deal on the CLA45 AMG at the moment, until the end of the month. Close to the C class.

There's a technical industry term for what you've done there, it's called "missed out". The super-cheap Arteons are gone.

You'd do well to ignore the practices of the majority of the PH plebs, they spend most of their lives drawing up spreadsheets of deals that have normally expired by time they actually get around to ordering something.

If it's a crazy deal, you need to at least get your application form in ASAP so that you're locked in if the price does change.

Understood! To be fair the S4 deals looked promising and of course disappeared soon after.

I'll keep my options open and await for the next affordable deal to make it's way onto this thread.

And here:

https://carleasespecialoffers.co.uk/car/product/19...

Which is apparently Wessex Fleet who did the original mis price, but then their "corrected" offer was still "cheap".

Thanks, just had a look on the website and they only have 1 car listed! assuming they are doing some Sunday maintenance. I don't suppose you remember roughly how much?

That was the one, although as a mis-price I suppose it was never a deal in the first place. Unfortunately would be stretching myself on this.

Soooo apparently I have a deal structured with a massive balloon and will thus not get to 50% paid before the agreement actually ends in July! So VT not an option. Any idea where I stand cancelling an order for a car (done via email) that has not arrived yet and I did not pay a deposit on.
It doesn't include the balloon payment, only the total payable, so you should be fine.
does it depends how much he financed ?...it's 50% of the amount borrowed, so if you've borrowed 20k, 2k deposit say, 6k in payments and a balloon of around 12k, you won't have paid 50% back before the balloon. I think you borrow the whole amount on paper, not just the difference between your deposit and the balloon?

Just to clear this up the 50% is of the total amount payable.
£10,000 OTR
£1000.00 Interest
£100.00 Admin fee

£11100.00 is the total amount.

once you have paid £5550.00 back which includes any deposit you can ask the finance company for a VT.

What you normally find is with a PCP the final payment will be £6000.00 so you very rarely get to the VT position before the end of the contract. As stated above this looks to be the case with this one.
If you go down the VT route expect any future lenders to expect at least 10% deposit from you in the future.

As previously stated depending on the outstanding amount and the value stick it on Autotrader and clear the finance that way.
If you would like a trade value give me a quick message I have a couple of friends in the trade still who would pop it through the valuation guides.

Hope that helps, I worked for a number of years at a Ford dealer and my main responsibility was Options (PCP) agreements.

Presuming you're after 8K (which I believe the mis price was), the "correct" figures on their deal are:

(9 + 23) * £304 = £9728 (if you can get a dealer to match and drop the admin fee)
+ £198 (admin fee) = £9926 (if you have to go through them)

If thats too expensive I think you probably need to adjust your expectations. As significantly better deals don't appear to pop up often if ever on this kind of metal. So you'll either need to be extremely lucky with timing, or run a banger (or walk) in between such deals.

Also, (I'm not trying to be condescending or rude) if you are really stretching yourself at that price i'd reconsider such cars in any case. Have a look at how much a couple of tyres cost to replace. If you're heavy on the brakes and accelerator you could go through a couple of tyres in 16k. You could also be unfortunate and have a puncture, damage some side walls on kerb, etc. Try to be realistic about potential expenses that could pop up even on a 2 year lease.

I've been following this intently for the last couple of weeks waiting for that Arteon deal, anyone spotted one that could share?

I'm presuming they are just creeping up in price as they gain momentum? Will be my first lease so this is all so very new.
If you want a top deal on an Arteon, I would recommend you contact the following -

Sarah Carlton - Inchcape Volkswagen in Cheltenham - 01242 222233/07824 088572 - sarah.carlton@inchcape.co.uk

OR

Claire Tudge - Murray Volkswagen in Newton Abbot - 01626 201616 - claire.tudge@murrayvolkswagen.co.uk

Mention my name (Richard Miller) and they will look after you!

All of the ones I've seen are inc VAT. Manual car, zero options. Standard kit is pretty good though. Biggest downside is the lead time.

Yup thats what I thought. Just got quoted 259 excluding vat today which I found odd. I'll await a written confirmation tomorrow and take it from there (not sure the guy I spoke with was up to speed).

Thanks. Dealer came back late on Sat offering £10750 PX with settlement figure being about £11750 when the new car is due so I would need to put in another £1k to clear the negative equity. Add to the £2.3k initial for the new lease and it's sounds a lot vs. wait a few months and get a new deal. They have said they will hold my deposit for an order on something in the new year seemingly forgetting I never paid one! So presumably I can (luckily considering it was a ttish mistake on my behalf) get out without any costs. Bummer is I was liking the idea of the 245 vs the current 1.6 diesel ... even if it is supposed to be the wife's smile

I like the honesty of that, any broker or dealer would normally just be working that money into monthly payments anyway, so either way you would pay it, at least this way you get the lower payment.
Looks a good deal, Mercedes seem very slow with deals this Qtr I wonder if its anything to do with the Airbag news? I was speaking to a broker yesterday who normally have loads of Merc deals, she said they have barely any this month.

Don't forget to also add the £250+VAT fee which isn't mentioned in the advert...
