If thats too expensive I think you probably need to adjust your expectations. As significantly better deals don't appear to pop up often if ever on this kind of metal. So you'll either need to be extremely lucky with timing, or run a banger (or walk) in between such deals.

Also, (I'm not trying to be condescending or rude) if you are really stretching yourself at that price i'd reconsider such cars in any case. Have a look at how much a couple of tyres cost to replace. If you're heavy on the brakes and accelerator you could go through a couple of tyres in 16k. You could also be unfortunate and have a puncture, damage some side walls on kerb, etc. Try to be realistic about potential expenses that could pop up even on a 2 year lease.

Not to mention 26mpg and insurance.

I like the honesty of that, any broker or dealer would normally just be working that money into monthly payments anyway, so either way you would pay it, at least this way you get the lower payment.
Looks a good deal, Mercedes seem very slow with deals this Qtr I wonder if its anything to do with the Airbag news? I was speaking to a broker yesterday who normally have loads of Merc deals, she said they have barely any this month.
You like the "honesty" of a broker charging £900 of fees (that they don't make very clear on their site) to artificially lower a monthly rental prior to the contract even starting?

Blimey, do you buy household furnishings from this guy?

Didn't go with Black Pack in end - CVL are happy to have windows tinted and the chrome vinyl wrapped - and will be much cheaper than paying Audi prices for it - especially as will do the de-chrome wrapping myself.
Not sure how you feel about window blinds, but I ordered a set for my lease A4 Avant from a company called Windesa (Germany based but site is in English and they deliver to UK). Got a full set of perfectly fitted blinds for rear passengers, quarterlights and rear screen for about £140 (pre-Brexit exchange rate!). You can see out, still open/close the windows and from outside the windows look blacked out.

Plus I'll probably get £100 back selling them at the end of the lease!

EDIT: Just checked out their website and they've got the A4 Avant set on sale at €125 - around £110 (down from €180). Absolute steal for anyone with a leased A4 Avant that wants blacked out windows.

Considering how much Audi sell them for that's a cracking price and good alternative to tinting the windows yourself.

Nothing to do with airbags. It's all about budgets and targets, as in there's not much of the former left and I believe they're not far off hitting the latter for the year

Hi all,

Currently on the hunt for a potential lease for my parents in law.

They are after a small/medium size automatic 5 door with a max budget of £180/month (based on either 3+23 or 6+23 ideally), mileage is circa 6,000pa. Have found a few deals on the new Seat Arona but this is on a 5 month lead time at the moment (it's not released until December).

Any ideas on alternatives? The only thing i can i find in the price range is a Kia Picanto 2, recently had one for a day as a courtesy car and it was a pile of crap.

Kia Optima SW is going well still (leased back in May), up to 9,000 miles now and no issues, lovely drive and interior quality is good with no marking etc. Only thing i've noticed really is the alloys have become quite tarnished etc relatively quickly but nothing major.

Cheers,

Tom

Need some new fronts for the 330e, it's a lease so am I beholden to replace with RFLs? I've always upgraded to non-runflats on previous cars but they've been my own assets. I can't see anything in the contract but don't want to be caught out on return?

Kia alloys are renowned for corroding. It happened on my old car (2012 Sportage) so had a look at an owners forum and there was a big thread on it - lots of wheels replaced under warranty.

If it's anything like MB you'll have to replace with the type of tyres it came with unfortunately. But if they tell you non RFL are fine make sure you get it in writing, as MB first told me that but when I asked for it in writing, went away and came back to say has to be RFL :/

Depending on how long is left on the lease and cost/hassle you could try the BMW forums and see if someone wants to do some sort of New/Old exchange with you.

I've been following this intently for the last couple of weeks waiting for that Arteon deal, anyone spotted one that could share?

I'm presuming they are just creeping up in price as they gain momentum? Will be my first lease so this is all so very new.
The petrol R Line DSG has been on (a great) offer since the start of October but it seems you've missed it now. A mate was after one but just missed out last week and was told they'll be a lot more expensive when they come back next week. The one he wanted was around £210 (incl VAT, 9+23 5k)
You are absolutely right. The Arteon deals have been cracking over the last couple of weeks. I was fortunate enough to get a number of orders in for myself and a few colleagues before they disappeared last week.

As a result of the various pricing requests that I made I have a few unused quotes knocking about in my inbox. I have confirmed with the dealership this afternoon that they are happy for these quotes to be used by someone else and they will switch the name in the VW system.
The only condition is that everything in terms of options and payment profile is fixed as per the original requests.

The quotes are as follows (2.0 TFSI 190, DSG R-LINE, 24 month lease)

Quote 1
Miles: 8,000 per year
Options: Metallic paint
Initial Payment £4,240 + 23 x £144.62 =£7,566.26 (inc VAT)

Quote 2
Miles: 10,000 per year
Options: Metallic Paint, Panoramic Roof, XDS Diff lock
Initial Payment £4,306.50 + 23 x £197.05 = £8,838.65 (inc VAT)

Excess mileage is charged at 10.8p per mile inc VAT

These quotes are for a VW dealership so no broker fee. If they are of interest to anyone then drop me a PM and I will email over one of these quotes and you will deal directly with the dealership.

Nice one - that's a great way of getting the privacy/security on the rear windows and easily removed and sold on after lease - cheers

I'm very tempted, just trying to get a test drive sorted and give my local dealer a chance to match IMG Warrington's price.

Last time, the deal was open for a while so hoping this one is as well, I know I risk missing out but it wouldn't bother me too much as I am in a position where I can wait for another deal on another car to come along.

Edit to add: I have enquired about the Cupra on 12k miles, came out at £279 on a 1+23 so they are adding only £5 per month for each 1k miles extra. works out at 6p a mile, hich is better than the 6.98+VAT rate, but would be worse than the half price rate that many seem to be getting...

Used to get, as per posts on the forum, it seems to be thing of the past.

Yeah, I've noticed that so think I'll just plump to put the miles on upfront, especiallya s I'm likely to do between 12k and 15k.

I'm going to wander into a dealer later today to see if they have any in the showroom, highly unlikely, but I'll have a look. Stable was quoting £250 a month 6+23 for 10k miles, so the £279 seems like a good deal. Stable stated delivery had to be by 30-06-2018, which is why I'm drawn to this deal. My Golf Estate R should go back on the 9th June.

If I can get it to less than what I paid for the golf over 2 years, that would be great. That was £220.80 6+23 10k miles.

I'm hoping that's £250 amortised?. If it's not...
