Seems to be a big difference in price between the GTI and R to me?
yep ignore me!

5dr GTI is 225 a month inc VAT with 3 months down. I was looking at the 3dr.

Best deal seems to be for GTI 5dr GTI, 8k miles. £6167.77 total.

£256.99 amortised monthly.

Or go for 5k miles. PPM is 9p + VAT.

Have you guys ever heard of going to a dealership and asking to lease their approved used cars?

Surely would be cheaper as the initial years depreciation has already taken effect plus any additional years it's been around for.

wouldn't mind a two year old RS Q3, finding some that are going for around 28-35 grand region. Shows how much they have depreciated lol.
Can you do that?

I wouldn't personally want to go older than maybe a three month old demonstrator and then, depending upon the servicing schedule, get the first service done free of charge.

The VAT effect would already have been priced into the depreciation by that point but it would effectively still be a pristine car with some substantial warranty left.

Yes it's true

VWFS Q2 deal - HEADLINE RATE

New Golf GTI 5dr Manual
£2000 + VAT initial
£109.99 + VAT for 23 months
5k miles per annum
Solid Paint - Black Bubin

This will be one of those crazy deals likely to last a few hours, so be among the lucky few.

Thank you,
Paul

Seems like a decent low price for a mid sized saloon

Nothing much else interesting around at sub £250 a month

Beware though - that's not a 'great' deal. I'm leasing that exact car from March 2016's deals at £1.2k initial and £141 per month, 10k miles per annum for 24 months. That was the benchmark for a good deal at the time (I realise times have changed since of course!)

The car though could not be described as interesting. It's a nice place to sit. That's pretty much all. I can't wait to get something else!

GTI offer is pretty good, but any options absolutely murder it.

Met paint, brescia wheels (the cheap ones), keyless made it £198/m plus VAT! (up from 109/m)

Have to keep it standard.

We just ordered (to buy) a facelift GTI with 25% off list, just worked out better than leasing this time for us as the missus wants to keep it for 4 or 5 years.

Hub Leasing seems to have it 'in stock' and a lower initial if anyone wants it quickly...

VW are saying tis will be a stock campaign and they will know availability by 3pm - I can't see how when it's the New model Golf GTI

Please be vigilant we all know VWFS have a habit of introducing crazy cheap deals, only to pull them very quickly after.

VW are saying this will be a stock campaign and they will know availability by 3pm.

Have been looking at an A6, and I see the level of support at dealers increased from £3,450 to £5,800 for Q2 sales so guessing they are struggling against the 5 series. This should mean lease deals. Really like the A7 too. Fingers crossed.
Have been looking at A6 as well - more estate than saloon. New A6 I think might be next year - not sure.

At this rate depending on deals could be cheaper to buy - unless no one buys then could be a cheap lease.

They must have leased 1,000's of cheap Rs so availability may be much better than you think...
