Perhaps we can take the dull insurance discussion elsewhere and discuss the lease deals?
Sorry Officer but this was a relevant lease related topic!!

I could perhaps Direct you to the thread that only lists lease deals with no discussion. You may find that it’s very quiet and unpopular.

That's how I understood it
I have heard that they will be released on Black Friday as a VW publicity gimmick.

Don't care, I'm going to go for one of the Leon 300 deals instead, so nice one VAG you're not seeing any of my money.

Oh...... wait..........

During the potential deals and insurance talk, my deal arrived this morning... very happy with it too... the interior (which I was worried about) is much nicer than I thought it would be. Here's to 2 years of comfortable, hassle free motoring.

that looks great value (circa 21% for 10k pa) but not even folding wing mirrors. got caught out on that on my BMW last year; 50k car and I have to fold in the wing mirrors by hand laugh
I like folding by hand my mirrors, it makes me work on my core muscles!

I still think these are a cracking looking motor especially from the outside. Yes the sat nav is a bit old tech but it still works fine.
One of the best looking 4x4 in my view.

you must be made up!

If anyone knows of or stumbles across an Audi A4 saloon 1.4 black edition with tech pack deal please post. I know the deals from a month or so ago have passed but might be something good still kicking around.

Best one I have at min is from Fleet Prices at 1964 down and 218 a month on 9+23 with 10k per annum.
I know the S Line is 179 a month at min but the wife likes the look of the Black Edition in white and with the tech pack it has all the nice kit.

The 1.4 engine has had some comments on here but ive driven one and for day to day driving its fine.

I'm chuffed to be honest.. though I won't drive it much - my wife will spend most time in it.

Only done a few miles in it, but feels pretty good so far - it's certainly quick enough for what it is, ride is very good (surprising, given it's on 275/40/21's), seats and driving position feel lovely, steering feels 'OK', it's not overly soft in the corners, and it seems very solidly put together. For a big SUV, I think it hides it size much better than the competition... it is massive, but parked next to an X5 it looks svelte.

I know the tech is last generation, but my other car is a '00 996, so it feels 22nd century to me.

I ordered a S-Line for £6,300 for 10k miles pa this week but in Avant.

I can't quite see the benefit of the Black Edition:

- wheels are 19, I find they look awful plus won't help the ride nor mpg nor tyre cost
- you can't see the cosmetic black bits when you're driving it
- the tech pack is not standard AFAIK so you could get that on a S-Line anyway

Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.4 V8 Hemi SRT Auto available on a 1+23 with 10k mpa for £794 a month.

Works out around ~28% of the ~£70k RRP.

A reasonable deal, with very low deposit, for a rare and big V8 with ~460bhp and 0-60 in 4.8secs.

Not awful, but this is only £7pm more, and I know what I would rather have!

+ fees I suspect. The equivalent Karoq (one size up car) with Nav is only marginally more.

Yeah, they're both reasonably good deals (for fast SUVs), around 25-30% of RRP. Quite hard to choose between the two. One is an anonymous rattly old soot-chucker with a good(ish) badge. The other is a rumbly V8 muscle-truck with a downmarket badge and terrible reliability record (Jeep are almost always bottom of reliability surveys). Need to flip a coin!

There seems to be quite a few discounts on the Abarth 124 and I think I’m going to go for one.

Best deal I can find is a 3+23 at £274 with £300 admin fee. Has anyone seen any better?

9+23 8k Miles p/a
£2,033.91 Initial Payment
