I looked after brokers as part of my last job, I always pointed end users back towards their broker as some brokers get stty if dealers liaise directly with their customers. I'd also email the broker and ask them to pull their finger out and actually earn their fees as some don't!

Hi. I'm looking for a hatchback type of car . Seat leon is a decent value but would like to see other options. My budget is about £150 on 6+ 23 8000 mls . I checked some websites but no luck . Thanks
You'll struggle to get anything more than a Leon. Your price range will get you a Fabia/Octavia or a poverty spec Astra/Focus. Suggest you go to Contract Hire and Leasing, WhatCar leasing and Honest John leasing to get some prices.

I've got the Astra elite nav albeit the 2 litre petrol and it's in no way poverty spec.

Just ordered a Seat Leon ST Cupra 300 3+23 no fees at £290 a month with the following options.

Desire Red
Winter Pack
Seat Sound
Keyless with connectivity hub
Adaptive cruise

Just discovered it'll come with the virtual cockpit as standard which is a bonus.

As I said, you'll struggle to get anything better than a poverty spec Astra for £150 per month on a 6+23.

Of course you'll get a decent spec Astra for £170 per month on a 6+47 term(!) Don't forget to factor in the 2 MOTs, 3 services and and some change of tyres....

I have a deal for a Tiguan R-Line that's £285pcm here (for the 150PS model) so I'm hoping that the prices on that will come down a fair bit on Friday with dealer contributions factored in.

Then again I saw a Karoq review this morning and it was reckoned to be very good and will be cheaper, so I might hold on for those to come on stream.

Thanks - I'm after an SEL ideally, but not in a rush. If the Tiguan deal isn't great, I'll wait until January. If I didn't have to wait I'd have had that 5 series posted earlier - great deal, that.

There is no 2 litre petrol for the latest astra model and even the previous model, only the VXR version had a 2 litre petrol..

Would you mind sharing where you got it from? Also any idea on their delivery timescales? Thanks in advance

No probs, it's through Vertu lease. Delivery quoted late March, early April and should say it's on 10000 miles per annum.

What's the base price of the car without any options ticked on a 3+23 with Vertu Lease? Thanks

Like saying "so" at the start of every sentence when and why did we start "speaking with" and not "speaking to" someone?

I'm not sure when and why, but it's not grammatically incorrect. The Oxford English Dictionary may help you answer your burning questions of the history of "with" and "to" ;-)

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Seat Leon Cupra 300 5dr Manual, mystery blue but otherwise standard. 12,000 miles

6 + 23 at £232 month. Seemed a decent price and the best part is it is a cancelled order and will be in the UK week 4 2018

That's the FWD version right? Any idea what the uplift in cost for the 4WD version was?

By standard, you mean its not part of any of the options mentioned here? I have ordered one, standard car but wasn't aware the VC was included?
