It’s a good deal in my opinion. What strikes me as odd are people that will spend weeks trying to save 200 quid. The cheapest these have ever been, 18 months ago was, 6,600. You most likely won’t see that again. The gbp is in the toilet.
Yip agree, not a cracking deal if you are comparing to 18-24 months ago but a pretty good deal in the current climate and the best you'll get for the foreseeable future!!

If you hang around waiting for a slightly more discount etc then you'll miss out, simple as that!
Agreed, if you want a Golf R then go for it. It's not enough for me to cancel my Leon Cupra order (1+23 £289 for 12k miles) if the R had got close to that then i would have gone for it.

Good personal-lease deals are very rare. There was a cheapish Ferrari 488 deal a few months ago for around £1200-1500. Most supercars are around £1000-5000 a month, but are always way overpriced. Some cheaper ones can be found on biz leases, but still hard to find. Select and CVL have had some okay deals in the past.
thank you - I figured as much. Shame really if it could be done without taking trousers down........I guess they rarely make too many of them, so they don't need to offer them up cheap

Are there any GTi or R hatchback deals on, or is it just the estate?

Haven't seen any hatchback deals on the GTi or R. Golf 1.6 TDi was offered at £109.99 with a £2k deposit plus VAT

Pretty sure the Golf R deals were cheaper when last offered. That said it's not a bad deal.

I'm trying to secure an A6 Avant S Line or will just stick with the S4 Avant.

Clyde, are you progressing the A6 through Blue Chilli or trying dealers? If dealers, have you had any luck with them matching?

Are any of the Golf R estate deals inclusive of metallic? About the only thing I want is metallic I think. The more I look at these deals the more I think they're pretty decent. The boot's bigger than the Audi A4 Avant's isn't it?

Think im going to have to exile myself from this page and just stick to my 245 on order.

Would like the audi a6, but must keep focused on the whole point of this is cheap motoring to allow extra £ on fun toy!

If anyone spots a decent SUV deal today a heads up on here would be massively appreciated.

At work so very limited time to get on and search around and suspect I might miss something good today. Been looking at Ateca/CX5/Tiguans etc

Not had a chance to call dealers. All the other brokers have much larger deposits in comparison and are working out at least £1k more. Both the Saloon and Avant are available through Blue Chilli as I spoke with them this morning, although the saloon might be limited in numbers now.

Factory build so current model. That said almost all the Audi range bar the A6 have seen new models being launched over the last 12 months so it's definitely due a new model which we might see next year.

Thanks. I was planning in calling into my local dealer this afternoon anyway to see if they'd price match some of the good 1.4 A4 Avant S-line deals going about, but think I'll push for the A6 instead and see what they can do. Haven't actually sat in an A6, by pictures it looks a bit more dated than the A4 (infotainment screen as an exmple), but far more kit and also an auto so well worth it in my view

Just been on the dealer about the XF deal just need to look at the figures if it's worth while getting the 5K and just paying the excess.

He also mentioned the A6 deal and has just had an avant deal come in that he's going to email.

Will post the details when I get them.

Doing the same myself, the Ateca looks to be unattainable as I need one for the end of January. I've been sent these two from Yes Lease...

Golf R Estate

£2k down and £249.66 a month - no admin fee. 10k pa, 9p a mile + VAT excess.

Listers VW.

Better than I was expecting given their email earlier in the week. Almost exactly £1k more than the hatch I signed up for 3 years ago but spec now includes nav and heated seats. Had the clutch not been so rubbish in my R hatch I'd have considered buying it but having already extended it to 3 years seems a good time to be swapping out of it.
