"Golf R Estate

£2k down and £249.66 a month - no admin fee. 10k pa, 9p a mile + VAT excess.

Listers VW."

Would you be able to supply the contact details. This deals is better than the CVL one as it's 10k per annum

Many thanks

Really torn on the Golf R - it's a good enough deal, but I'm not mad keen on the looks of it and I've already had a Golf R. £7500 or so for two years in a brand new car isn't bad though.

Fisted the A6 deal. 9 + 23 at £145 on 5k. Happy with that for a second car.

Yip agree, not a cracking deal if you are comparing to 18-24 months ago but a pretty good deal in the current climate and the best you'll get for the foreseeable future!!

If you hang around waiting for a slightly more discount etc then you'll miss out, simple as that!
Those deals won't return as the list price for the newer 7.5R are a couple of grand higher than they were for the 7 & RFL is now higher so the above deals are as good as those in the Summer, which equally are pro rare as good as the deals of 18mths ago.

Also bear in mind these are for the Estate which on top of the higher price the 7.5 lists at over the 7, is also a couple of grand more expensive being the Estate. The deals 18mths ago were on the cheaper Hatchback.

That's literally less than £2 per month like for like more than the cracking deals back in the Summer, so anyone looking for an R Estate i'd suggest you jump on these.

Am just about to sign up for a Personal lease of an Infiniti Q30 Premium Tech 1.5 DCT for:
20k pa
6+47
£234

Non-maintenance

I cannot believe how cheap a deal this is for 20k mileage. Or is there a reason that escapes me as to why most most leases are 36 months?

Anyway, does anyone else think this is a good deal?

You'll be driving the car 1yr/20k out of warranty. Other than that, it's relative cheap motoring.

That's literally less than £2 per month like for like more than the cracking deals back in the Summer, so anyone looking for an R Estate i'd suggest you jump on these.
Percentage wise the latest Golf R estate deals don't seem too bad as I make them approx. 21/22% of current list price.

However, they are about £1,300 more across the 2 years than what I am on for my 7 R Estate. I totally get that was a good deal (£1,502 initial and £213 pm for 10k pa and all inc VAT). However, just wondering why no one seems to be interested in the Seat Leon ST Cupra 300 as per this link - https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/seat/leo...

This on a 2 year 10k pa basis works out at only £100 more than my Golf R deal from last year for what is a very similar car. Granted, it's manual and FWD. However, I could probably live with the manual and the fact that it loses 4WD will probably make it even quicker than my current R in most day-to-day circumstances.

If the Seat deals are available to order for June delivery (which I don't think is the case at present), then I am tempted to order one of them to replace my current R Estate.

Just wondering whether anyone else was thinking the same?

As an aside, anyone who goes for an R Estate, it really is a great car. Arguably it's so competent at everything it does, it could be perceived as boring but I have enjoyed mine for nearly 20k miles and 18 months (thus far) with no issues to report.

Me too.
But was considering full 4Drive ST (Which means DSG too)
These are circa £344 on a 1+23 from IMG Warrington.
But this is basically a ‘old’ mk 7 golf, (296bhp, 6 speed DSG).
The longer (IMG) wait suits me (Alltrack goes back in June), although the new R deals work out a smidge cheaper (£279+vat 1+23)
Totally agree with the Fwd & manual (Cupra ST) option saving some cash, I need DSG which I think means I have to have the 4Drive too.
I’ll need to decide soon though.
Ditto XF & A6 deals, but i’m in preference of the estates.
Anyone had any luck with an A6 Avant deal without fees?

Some figures back. I'm leaning towards the XF but for some reason the Mrs doesn't like the Jag and can't get her mind round leasing and prefers the A6.

XF R 200ps £1800 initial

23* £200

Based on 6K

Excess mileage 10.1p

A6

1511.89
23*167

5K

10.5p excess mileage.

Got some figures on the Avant with the S line pack

2278.62
23*234
6K miles

That is from Hollie Sharman at Listers VW - Hollie.sharman@listers.co.uk

You could also try Richard Gibson at Windrush VW - Richard.gibson@windrush.co.uk as their price was inbetween the one I quoted and Central's deal.
