adblue problems (common apparently)
Actually, now you mention it (I'd forgotten) - I took the hired XE back early as it said something like "no more engine starts available in 30 miles" due to needing to be topped up with adblue. Assume this wouldn't normally happen if you own it as you'd keep it topped up.Not necessarily a problem in the one I had, just Enterprise being lazy.

We've had a Jag XE 2.0D R Sport for about 18 months.
It's a pile of ste and we can't wait for the lease to end and give the thing back to Jaguar.
Care to elaborate with something more informative? It's a pile of ste and we can't wait for the lease to end and give the thing back to Jaguar.
Ad blue tank problems - 6 visits to the dealership to fix
Sat nav problems - 3 visits to the dealership to fix
Brake distance monitor - doesn't work when it's frosty
New bumper bracket - 13 weeks for Jaguar to source
Multiple rattles and bits of trim falling off randomly - 3 visits to dealer to fix
Gearbox software - 2 visits to dealer to fix
Infotainment system completely failing - 2 visits to dealer to fix
Rear high level brake light failed completely
I could go on. Last time it went back to the dealership, having escalated it Jaguar, they had 5 sides of A4 filled with various fixed / problems / areas that needed attention.
My 10 year old BMW 6 series has less problems and rattles than the Jaguar. We swapped a 2013 F3x 320D for the XE 2.0D, so have a direct comparison. The BMW is, in every conceivable way, a much higher quality product than the Jaguar

I personally went for the Casieum Blue with Black pack, Templar 18"s, Jet/Oyster leather and the meridian sound system because the standard one is a bit pants...
My business partner went for the Italian Racing Red, which is also a very nice colour!
I have meridian too actually forgot that one!! It was between these two colours for me too!My business partner went for the Italian Racing Red, which is also a very nice colour!

I feel like this must of been one of the earlier cars. Its said that a lot of early issues were rectified my the MY17 model. Unfortunately with was a brand new model, not just a new shape, and the early ones did seem to have their problem. Listening to owners of new cars like my self these issues seem not to arise now.Ad blue tank problems - 6 visits to the dealership to fix
