Good to hear about the Grand Scenic... I have herd some reliability horror stories.

That Subaru is horrific!

The other busses, whilst fitting... probably wouldn't go down well. Suspect parts are a pain too.

Galaxy is the winner so far but would try for the facelift. They all seem to be ex-taxis.
Ours is one of the newer models just as Renault took a big step forward in quality. I also have a Twingo Renault Sport and wanted nothing other than servicing in the 5 years and 72k. Renault is not like it used to be had more issues with both my fabia vrs and Octavia vrs and never touched the Twingo or Scenic I won't go back to any vag that's for sure.

We are on our third Scenic / Grand Scenic through choice.

And you could just get an outandabout double buggy in the back of our first GS (1st Generation) with both seats up, but not much room for anything else.

The Gen2 is better, with storage on board for the luggage cover, more cubby holes and power (12v) in all three rows. But would still be a bit of a struggle to get more than a change bag and a buggy in the boot with seats up.

We have an diesel 1.5, 110bhp. Watch out for the FAP on early models, dont like lots of short journeys. But pick up at junctions and general motorway driving is great in it.

Brother has 3 Kids, 12 - 10 and 4 and they manage fine in a Galaxy without seats 6 & 7 up. S-Max is a little limited on head space given the roof line.

We also did a bit of a weird deal with the dealer, asked him to cost the small bits of work it needed doing to make it good for the sale, few scratches, trim replacement etc. but then told him not to do it. And give us bits we needed instead. Rugs, Roof Rack, etc to the same value. He look at us funny, but realistically all the bits they would have done would have been trashed again in less that a year as its the family workhorse, so absolutely no point.

We are just starting to think of its replacement, but will go PHP / Lease this time as kids are older and more respectful of things in general.

Do you need any of the third row seats up? The S-max middle row is wide. We have 3 kids with the following

Recaro Monza seatfix for 3yr old (very wide booster)
2 other boosters for 11 and 7 year old.

No issues with space across that row.

And the 2.5 is lurverly smile

It will be 2 x new bourns and a 2.5yr old todler across the middle. There will be a stage where it will be 3 x toddlers in big seats across the middle. Not sure if we can fit them all in at that stage.

There is also the issue of getting to the one in the middle when parked up. And then there is the clobber that goes with them.

Starting to lean towards the Galaxy / S-Max. An XC-90 has a surprisingly large boot with the rear seats up, but they cost a lot!

Looked at an Espace - probably the best fit so far, but some questionable styling.

C4 Grand Picasso - no room with seats up.

2.5 S-Max would be nice, but space and practicality must be a priority. Probably end up with a Diesel, as that's all that seems to be for sale.

VW Caddy Maxi Life?

Okay will struggle with Diesel but 7 seater, massive boot. DSG option.

Or 7 Seater, 3.2 petrol Automatic, not silver and I think it qualifies as a bus.....

Not sure about Iso fix though?
