My 59 plate cost me £40k, I sold it 3 years down the line to a dealer for £39,600 (6months ago?) Buy clever 2nd hand if you can.

You can get a service deal with Litchfield where they inspect the car and you pay approx £1.2k per year which is like an after service warranty arrangement providing you go back to them for services etc.

During my 3 years ownership my biggest bill was £1.2k in total for gearbox niggles, the running costs are nowhere near as high as you think. Be sensible and wait for the right car
