New car logistics aren't run on common sense lines ime

My i3 came to me in york from BMW Edinburgh.

Although it didn't do so directly. The transporter driver took it to Edinburgh from the BMW place at Thorne, pretty much passing my door. The pdi seemed to have been done at Thorne and the car sat at Edinburgh for two days before the same transporter driver brought it to me...

In other car logistics lunacy, we had a new merc delivered from the merc import place at Grimsby or wherever it is over that way. We had one that was being returned there. It had been inspected and we expected the driver delivering the new one to take the old one. But no, he walked 3 miles to a bus stop to get a train back home and a different driver was brought in a mini bus the next day to collect the old one and take it back to the same place the new one had come from

My First lease car was deliverd to me in Bournemouth from Leicester.
My second came from Southampton. In the meantime I had moved to our new house. 20 miles from Leicester.
Just confirm with the broker that the delivery mileage is not part of your contract.

The only issue I can see arising from this is he will have to service it earlier than he had planned, if on a fixed term servicing schedule every 10k miles or so.

Learn something new everyday. Lesson for today is not get a car from carwow or lease one - check.
What absolute nonsense. Avoid lease brokers yes, but go through what car best deals, direct to a dealer of your choice. Deal with the dealer direct when leasing.
