I'm 6ft2 and my head was brushing the roof in the 4c, the steering is ridiculous heavy at low speed parking etc, and it's not that quick. It's very exotic as you say for the cash, and I can see them being a future classic, however a lot of reports seem mixed about them .
Surely 'mixed reports' should be obsolete after driving one? At that point, your own opinion should be what you base your comments on.

I'm not sure I get your argument of it being 'not that quick' - with a top speed in excess of 160mph, 0–62 mph time of 4.5 seconds and 350 Nm torque @ 2,100 rpm (and 80% of that available at 1,700 rpm).

i couldnt drive it comfortably tbh, and had a salesman alongside, sat in normal traffic, so it didnt sparkle in any way. maybe given a weekend driving it in Wales i might have thought better. still v heavy steering at low speed though. i also test drove a QF which absolutely stood out immediately, so personally with £55k to spend i'd be having the QF.

3 pages in and a few mentions of Lotus. How about an Alfa 4c? A few dealers are heavily discounting new cars from 60k+ down to the mid 40s. It's a very exotic car for that money.

The seats on the 4C can be raised or lowered but it requires a tool to do so. I'm also 6ft2 and I didn't have any issues in the 3 that I tried. Perhaps the seat was set to one of the higher settings in the one you drove.
