Yes, sorry, didn’t make that clear. My question is when I find out the delivery date for my car, can I ring up VWFS and say I would like to terminate my contract as of the day before getting my new car? Has anyone done this? Thanks.
you're able to terminate when you get to half way. Not much more to it than that?

Not according to seat finance on a pch, yes on a pcp but for lease they said you would pay a percentage of remaining months

Does anyone know of an Audi dealer that’s matching the current A4 1.4 Black edition deals and has them in stock?

I have never seen a stock a4 1.4 deal. I got mine in August so was keeping an eye on deals for a while before that.

What is the best quote you’ve got so far on the A4 black edition? Select seems cheapest.

Pricing on select now says to call them, however off the top of my head I think CVL were coming in slightly cheaper at the start of the week (based on an s tronic, without tech pack, 8k pa)

Are brokers open to negotiation on lease pricing, or are they fixed prices?

Also, are you permitted to make minor cosmetic changes to a lease car that can be 'put right' at the end of the lease period - e.g. alloy wheel colour change?
yh bruv, u can also remap dem with chipz from ebay innit. long as u take it out before givin it bak. Sic !
Very good! I own a car which has been responsibly remapped (and declared to the insurer) but I ought to have been clearer about my intentions regarding my (potentially 2nd) lease car, although a couple of posters understood what I meant. I saw a MINI at the dealer in the colour I have been offered with gloss black wheels - the lease vehicle comes with standard silver alloys. I just wondered if changing the wheel colour would be frowned upon, particularly if it was checked for whatever reason. It's a 3 year deal, so worth a small investment if it looks the business, innit bruv?!
When I’d ordered my current xc90 lease I kept a look at on eBay for some upgraded wheels and managed to find a set of 20” genuine Volvo wheels with tyres for £500, I had them painted black and diamond cut which cost about £400 but I think I’ll recoup most of that back when the car goes back and I sell the wheels. Doing it that way I use the original wheels through winter so shouldn’t need to replace any tyres in the two years I’ll have the car with no risk of anything being picked up by the lease company such as poor finish on the re-painted wheels.

i got the quote, £33600, and the closest for sale on 'trader is £37k. I'd buy it and flip it, but i am not sure what they are actually going for, plus i fking scraped it the other day cry
Maybe they have woken up (in the case of the S8) that they aren't flying off the forecourts second hand so would be beneficial to sell to the lessee. Most of the time (from my own experience and others on here) their quotes are dearer than what you can get a different one for same spec.

I have to wonder if the inspector would even know what colour the wheels should be - do they have your original order spec sheet to compare to? Or are they just assessing the condition of what's in front of them?

If the latter, I don't see why one couldn't just get the original wheels powdercoated and be done with, although 'plastidip' may be a less permanent solution that could be easily removed before returning the car, AIUI:

On a 3+23 8k miles, £270.24 per month from uchoose with £120 fee. I’ve found dealers who’ll match but they’re all factory order.

Based on the racist moron who inspected my wife's 1 series for BMWFS I think I could have had a snorkel and pontoons on it. But seriously, its all about damage/condition etc. If you have the original wheels done in black properly I would be really shocked if this was picked up. They do take pictures of it but these are to confirm the inspection at time so if you wrap it up 5 minutes later you cant just hand it back.

Looking at a small/mid size SUV for mainly motorway journeys (and prefer the up right seating for back issues). Looked at quite a few but I quite fancy the Mazda CX-5 or the Skoda Karoq (was pleasantly surprised by the Skoda, essentially a VW with a different badge)

Skoda Karoq 1.6TDi SE Technology
35+6
£1749 up front
£291.51 monthly
20k annual mileage
Average Monthly cost: £341.50

Mazda CX-5 2.2d SE-L Nav 5dr Auto
47+10
£3,103 upfront
£312 Monthly
20k annual mileage
Average Monthly cost: £378.02

I'm quite tempted by the Mazda although the car I drive was the Sport, not the SE-L version. Renting over 4 years is also a concern but with the mileage I'm doing, surely I'll need a couple of services regardless with both cars?

Over 80K miles you might need six services on the CX-5. (12.5k Interval). Plus an MOT, and whatever breaks in the fourth year when you're outside warranty.

And remember your'e still paying the same monthly for the car, despite it's age and warranty status.

Karoq would probably need four over three years. assuming flexible service regime.

Try Kew Leasing. My Black Edition 1.4T has just been delivered and I’m paying £270 per month for 3x23 10k including maintenance

While on the subject of modifying cars, I have a a4 due back in June and we have had the back windows tinted. Should I remove these or do you think it will be ok to leave on.
Also it’s come up saying a oil service is due. Does anyone know how much this is and do I have to take it to audi.
Thanks

I've been told in the past....as long as it looks good and factory then just leave it on. i.e dont get a cheap job done.

Oil service indicator....as long as its not due, you can hand it back with it being due in xx miles.

Nice car, horrific 'deal'. That's nearly 18k total as I'm sure you realise.

Spoke to Audi about this last week as mine is due in 600 miles. She said it does have to go to Audi but unless the service light comes on, you don't need to do it. Even if the miles is up, if the light isn't on, there's no need to get it done

I'm clinging on myself - new car is apparently on it's way from Germany so hopefully about 3 weeks. Needless to say I'm taking the bike to work at the moment to keep the miles down!.

I potentially need a new car by May 30th. I've been looking at the usual suspects for 'In Stock' cars but nothing is really floating my boat. Budget is ~£550pcm on a 6+23/10k miles maintained but I could manage a bit more for the right car. It'll be a business lease.

Ideally I need something frugal (over 40mpg). I really like the new E-Class Coupe but it's way out of budget from a leasing perspective.

What's the story with "In Stock" with these brokers? Do they have a live feed from the dealers/manufacturers? I'm just trying to gauge how accurate "In Stock" is before I focus solely on those cars.

I'm not asking anyone to do legwork for me, but if you've spotted anything suitable recently please holler!
