Sorry , off topic - Kind of, but think this would be a good place to ask.

If a car is picked up at the end of the agreement, has over mileage charges to pay and also has a couple of damaged wheels logged on the handover paperwork. How long is it before you could expect the bill ? Would there be a time limit on how long they should get back to you, either by law or ethically ?

Cheers

Yeah, looking at their site again they do tend to say upfront when vehicles are stock. But if they are factory order, why the limitation by colour? Odd.
I’ve just been talking to a Seat dealer.

He stated that Cupra’s cannot be ordered from the factory. That’s not a long lead time; no-one can place an order at all.

I’m looking for an estate car with a big boot for work (I’m an engineer) and I like the look of the new 5 series.
Is there any good deals out there for the 5 series estate maybe 2 litre M sport?

I’ve had a quick look but the prices are quite high. I’m hoping someone knows of a deal somewhere
Soda superb and Volvo v60 are decent value.

Anybody know if picking a new car up overlaps before old one goes back by a few days, is it a problem using 7 day free insurance on new one and keeping existing insurance on old one until it’s gone?

.

I did this at the start of this lease (my first one) - old car that was to be sold had my normal insurance on, had the free 7 day from Audi on the lease.

Sold the car on day four I think so swapped onto my own insurance as soon as I could (better cover).

The dealer did say that he would be able to extend the 7 day for me if I had any trouble selling my old car.

Managed to get a manual cupra in stock for a 4 week delivery for partner. £240 a month.

Doubt the Cupra estates are stock, too many people are having huge waiting times on them for half a dozen just to be sitting in a compound.

Decent deal though, a grand cheapest than I have ever seen them advertised. If they are to order then expect a 6-12 month wait!
Where did you find a Cupra in stock?

I work for main dealer and we have 1 in stock, a cancelled order, hatch not ST , monsoon grey, but it's got loads of options including buckets, seat sound, camera pack etc, I've priced for me at cost and as the big discounts have been pulled still works out £350ish pm, my 290St BE goes back Sept unless I get 3mth extension but that's £200 So I can't justify the extra £150 , if anyone interested I could point you the way

Audi offers only 5 days now and you have to be registered keeper, so it woudn't work on leased Audi. It doesn't state it on website any more but it was there last year and I couldn't use it for my new car. http://www.vwfsinsuranceportal.co.uk/products/Moto...

If it's other brand, check their policy documents.

My ST 300 arrived a few days ago, good service and comms from Stockport Seat. Also got my £250 cheque from them so fair play, really cant complain at all, it took a while but it was roughly when I thought it would arrive anyway.

Thoughts on this deal? I'm aware the new 3 series is out soon-ish so it'll be a stock car, but I'm keen on the F30 and don't care about having the latest model so that isn't an issue:

Hi All,

Thanks for the previous suggestions, think we’re going to go for a Tiguan, in stock which is important as my wife’s current car failed yesterday and it’s not worth repairing!

The best deal I can find is https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/personal...

Anyone know of a better deal, 24 months is better because should get away with not changing tyres?

Thanks

Sam

What’s the price difference to have it over 3 years? By the time you take in to account MOT x 2 and the extra servicing it might make sense. You’ll also be in warranty for the length of the agreement smile

I agree.
From what I see a 3yr deal is only £250/yr more, so in my book the 3yr deal is preferable.

Looks good, I'd be tempted if it was an auto

Looking to go for this myself as it's the DSG
Should hopefully be cheap to run with only being a 1.0 engine.

SEL Spec as well

I picked up a new A5 at the end of April on PCH and was able to get the free driveaway insurance just fine (had the policy documents emailled to me, etc.)

What has changed in the past few months is that the dealer previously used to be able to set this all up for you, but now the customer has to phone the Audi insurance people directly and arrange it with them.

If it's not supposed to apply to PCH anymore then nobody seemed to know this! To be honest my dealer seemed to have little idea about the new process and even gave me the old number to arrange the insurance, so I can imagine some dealers just saying it's not available to avoid looking stupid perhaps...

Give the the insurance people a call on 03458 776236 and ask about it while being totally upfront that it's PCH. That's the new number I was given by the "old" insurance people and is the same number listed on the www.vwfsinsuranceportal.co.uk mentioned above.

I'm collecting a new Tiguan on Friday and have been told I can't use the 7 days drive away insurance. The girl at VW said it was only for PCP.

What kind of timescales am I looking at for collection of my PCP Mini? I've voluntarily terminated the agreement with BMW Finance on Friday (after doing it on Wednesday last week and finding out on Friday that they 'hadn't received the email') I'm now waiting for someone to call me to arrange inspection and collection.
Is it unreasonable to think that it could all be sorted and collected by Friday when I collect the new car? Had a beyond ridiculous quote from esure to cover both cars for a few weeks!!
