Dealership happy for me to post details...

Volvo S60 T4 [190] SE Nav 4dr [Leather]

£183.94 inc VAT
3+23 term
Factory order with metallic paint
8k miles pa
No admin fee

Offer's from Lookers Stockport Volvo.

Only downside is it is collection from the dealership (whereas Stoneacre Lincoln is with delivery - if I recall correctly).

Still useful for those who prefer to collect and/or are based in NW England.

Contact: DavidEaton@lookers.co.uk

16% of list price; for those who are interested in that sort of thing.

Orders being taken until at least Monday (apparently).

They're quoting end of March delivery. They're trying to hit Q1 targets. If delivery falls into April/later then the price will still be honoured (according to them).

They did have 1 stock/nearly ready car - but it had the winter pack so added about £15/month to the monthlies. We wanted a cheap and cheerful car to replace our outgoing cheap and cheerful car.

That's a very, very good deal. The same dealership have a PCP offer on the same car on their website which is significantly more expensive.

Doesn't include VAT and has a £500 admin fee
It does if you flick the little switch that defaults to business, but you move it to personal...figures I quoted are correct but thanks for your concern.
No - when you flick it to personal it adds VAT and the admin fee increases to £600. Read it again.

On a side note - admin fee of SIX HUNDRED POUNDS!!! How are they still in business?

Hi all

My other half went for the Jag deal with select that got pulled Monday - applied the Saturday before and just missed out. She was approved for finance but presumably this will leaves a ‘search’ on her credit file - I’m sure I’ve read before that these can be removed? Contact at Select just says don’t worry about it because you were accepted it won’t affect you... I’m not so sure?

Good deal here on a Volvo S90 D4 Momentum
https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...

9+23
8k per year
£217.78/m including VAT
£1960.02 initial
No fees

Works out at £290.37 per month all in or £6968.96 for 2 years.

Make that to be 20.3% if going off an RRP of £34,250
Make sure that you are happy to wait 5-6 months for delivery though.

Funder for Jag deal with Select is Lex.

I went for it back in November.
Got an early March delivery.
3+23 on the 2.0R-Sport for £283 on 10k

Nothing to suggest there are any issues
Lex have approved the finance and it's all going ahead as far as I can tell
They were with Lex, however this latest campaign is not.

Just had paperwork through.

Jag finance funded by Lex

Edited by Ham_and_Jam on Saturday 13th January 11:47
My understanding is that it is through Lex also as 'Jaguar Contract Hire' is a trading name for Lex Autolease. No issues from my perspective at this point in time, although I'm waiting on a delivery date to be confirmed and have a preliminary date for the end of March.

R-Sport Auto, 8k, £207/month on 9+23.

Bullsh!t.

Folk who got screwed over by the A6 deal in December got the searches removed from their credit file and £100 compensation.

I’d get back on the phone to Select...

Ford Focus 1.5 TDCI 120 Zetec 5dr

3+23
£168 p/month
15k per annum.

Credit to loofer on HotUKDeals.

Seems a good deal for a reputable middle of the road hatchback, with generous mileage allowance.

Personally I think that's a great price even if it's on 8k and 20ppm. What does Audi Finance (or carwow et al) currently say for PCP?
https://www.contractcars.com/car-leasing/deal/audi-a5-sportback-leasing?personal

Same monthly deal but with £600 down and 10k per annum mileage if you need it....
My original post....and the deal is still there... £239.99/m £600 admin fee on a 9+23...

I ordered my wife a 1.2 TSI Seat Leon before Christmas and the deliver date has been pushed back to end of March now which is annoying. As a consequence to avoid being annoyed by any better deals I have not been logging in to the forum. Does anyone have any idea when a realistic delivery date might be and why there are delays? Also I might consider pulling out and getting something else so have I missed any good deals for under £200 a month and no more than 2k down? I would prefer Audi, BMW or Mercedes but am open minded. Cheers

Thanks - have asked Select again nicely to reconsider and he’s said he will forward to the finance company on Monday to see if they can remove it. Will check the credit file next month to see if it’s still there and will just have to refer to the Ombudsman if still no joy!

Only 18 months though, so not quite comparable with others. Stretched out to 24 months that would be the equivalent of ~22%. Still not bad, but not amazing either. I suppose the perk is that it is only 18 months
No calculated it to find the % over 24 months! Should have said.

15%-20% is either the best deal you will find ever for that vehicle or its too good to be true. Most cases you just need to give in and see

20% is usually a wicked deal.

25% still good usually.

30% too high. Being ripped off.
Is that regardless of the term?
Well no!
If it was 30% of RRP for a 12month lease that’s bad, but 30% of RRP for a 48 month lease is good!

I believe that metric is applied to a 24 month lease with 10k per annum
on a car with 'average' depreciation too
