I’ve lost track of this thread, but remember some looking for new Polo GTi prices.
Have just come across this:

https://carleasespecialoffers.co.uk/car/product/34...

3+35 profile for £271 per month? (8k miles)
A lot better than ridiculous prices on here through the week.

Hope it helps someone.
You can get a Golf GTi for that - though probably not the DSG.

Here is a reasonable golf GTi deal - you can play with the figures.

Do you realise that the S60 is an old model being replaced this year, whilst the XC60 is a new model?

I do, I can still dream can't I?

Yes with uchoose - Chris Powell was very efficient who works there and dealt with it all!

Would have preferred auto but didn’t make sense as cost went up so much!

I ordered my wife a 1.2 TSI Seat Leon before Christmas and the deliver date has been pushed back to end of March now which is annoying. As a consequence to avoid being annoyed by any better deals I have not been logging in to the forum. Does anyone have any idea when a realistic delivery date might be and why there are delays? Also I might consider pulling out and getting something else so have I missed any good deals for under £200 a month and no more than 2k down? I would prefer Audi, BMW or Mercedes but am open minded. Cheers
I’m in the same boat. I ordered in late October (1.2 Leon SE Dynamic Technology, £146/month, 3+23, 8k/yr through Lease hub) with an original expected delivery date of late December/early January. Chased last week and was told this had slipped to late Feb, but that they have had some cars turning up a month earlier than planned (i.e it’s all a bit of a mess at the moment). Then got an automated update on Friday saying delivery is now end of March.

Currently weighing up my options. Tempted to scrap my order and go for a cheap 12 month stock deal. Although it would be unlikely to be on something as well specced as the Leon, once the year is up we should be in a better position to splurge on something more interesting (wedding and first mortgage coming up).

Those GLA AMG lines are stock deals I think. https://centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/lease-merced...

Seems to be best deal out there at minute but March delivery looking for end of June start of July delivery as hand back my focus St then.

Also noticed that there is a choice of 7 colours available at no extra cost...

QUESTIONS for anyone that has signed up for an s60.

What is the excess mileage charge?

What is the cool down period from signing up to a car? 14 days?

My catch is that I agreed with work that I would have a company car when my Alltrack goes back in a few months, so I need time to try to persuade them to go against the everyone has a company car policy.

If I fail then I need to get out of the contract.

What do you actually stand to lose if you were to cancel an order part way through for whatever reason? Are there fees to pay or does it depend on the company?

Edit; I realise you’d lose whatever admin fee you had paid to the broker but apart from that?

Not according to my quote.

I have about 7p for first 5k, 10p thereafter.

Gone back a few pages to find this, can you share your contact? I tried to message you directly but your emails are off.

Does anyone else have vw/audi dealers who can price match?

Thanks

I've been following this thread for a while and am constantly trying to decide whether or not to "fist a kumquat" but haven't because I suspected that, due to the high mileage I drive, I am better off buying a car and running it myself.

I know I am comparing buying second hand with sourcing a new car on PCH, but for me it is the decision between these two options that I have to make.

Anyway having just gone through 2 years of running a second hand 640d I have compiled a spreadsheet comparison of this vs PCH. I'm not going to post it here because the resultant discussion would clutter this thread with OT posts. I have created another thread for those that are interested to have a look.

There’s a few V90 estate deals around the 20% mark aswell.

Automatic and pretty high spec even in base model.

I’m pretty tempted

This works out at 19% if it was over 24 months. I took the £309 monthlies and extended them to get an idea

Better but still not great. We are 24 months into a polo gti lease at 134 a month and are keeping it for the same price for another 12. Will keep tabs on the new one though as they may do an offer soon to push some onto the road.

You'll find similar on what car leasing from Volvo dealers, 2 and 3 year deals. I'm thinking 2 year v90 r design, £7,664 all in, 8k miles, for a £39k car.
