Im going to go for the 3+23 at £255 per month with free met paint.

Tbh I wouldn’t lease a Leon cupra st for anymore than 260 a month with 3 month initial at 10k pa for 24 months. The current deals seem a bit higher than 3-4 months ago where I was getting quoted for 254 per month with above rental properties. Was on manual ofc and the DSG was at 304 per month on above rental properties.

Just be patient, they are bound to release some cracking deals. I found the deal off whatcar when I was looking. I ended up jumping on the xc60 instead for the 265 a month deal.

Regards the Jag XF I wonder if it's one of these situations again that if Lex haven't countersigned the finance documents they won't honour the deal?

I ordered direct with a Dealer on the Sunday. £225.25 on a 9+23 10000 per year R-sport trim.

What were fleetprices offering price wise?

I had ordered an A6 so if they are going to let me down on this one I'm making a complaint and then onto the Financial Ombudsman.

It'll set a trend if they keep doing it which is disconcerting for consumers.
Hi Can you tell me which dealer this was? Glasgow Jaguar using a random number generator to come up with prices and they're nowhere near this

Annoying thing is if it was the other way round and I pull out of a signed deal the broker/ dealer keeps the fee/ deposit.

Yeah that’s a reasonable deal. Only thing that put me off was the interior for the Cupra. Seats were fine it was the gearstick and centre console that had me questioning

It’s actually through the main BMW dealership in Edinburgh. Those seem to be the rates available across the board (basically, I wasn’t able to haggle them down). I am eligible for the business rates; however, as I am paid a car allowance as part of my salary.
Thanks, I’ll contact my local BMW and see if I can get it, I’m not currently receiving a car allowance or anything. By any chance do you have a copy of the quote please?

I ordered on the Friday, had approval by the Monday and signed.

In other words I wasn't exactly late to the party, deal landed on the Friday morning, I had the order in by Friday 1.30pm.

Did you have your signed agreement (both parties) back from Jaguar Finance (Lex) through the post?

I think you are on thin ice, all providers have the right to withdraw an offer at anytime. As long as they don’t accept the order and counter sign they can cancel it. It’s most heavily discribed in their terms when you sign.
Outlining something in the T&Cs doesn't affect statutory rights, otherwise it would be an open door to abuse.

Also, at the advertising stage, I assume the punter hasn't even seen the T&Cs, let alone signed the contract, which might be enough for the FOS to reject admittedly, difficult to tell until this is tested. Still, if it costs the supplier £550 for having taken the pi$$, what's not to like ?

No, had nothing in the post but had no reason to believe there would be an issue until the call I received yesterday.

Has anyone who took the XF deal had anything through the post counter signed?

The reason I asked is that I have had all the paperwork countersigned and received through the post. I’m assuming this means I’m OK.

Feel for you though frown

Nah, sorry, it’s a printed quote, so I couldn’t forward as an email for example. They will have access to the exact same deal at your local BMW as it’s a nationwide offer (which was one of the reasons I couldn’t haggle; the prices are fixed)

No. Did the online application on the Friday it went live and then paid the admin fee and signed the forms on the Monday. Haven’t had anything in the post.

Sorry, fake news. The price is dearer on their site, plus there’s a scrolling banner on their saying ‘A5 Cabs have sold out’.

I personally hate Select and their pressure sales tactics and don't usually deliver, I will be staying away.
Couldn’t agree more, always had bad experiences with select. Really unprofessional.

I know it’s personal opinion and circumstantial but is there any brokers/lease company to be particularly wary of? I’ve seen Select mentioned twice now on the last few pages. I’m just at the early stages of internet price hunting still so not actually contacted anyone yet.
