Peter Vardy currently has the Jaguar XE R-Sport at ~£299 a month. Many of the deals are on very long leases (3-5 years), so tread carefully. But many of them are very low 1-month deposits, so affordable to enter into, and somebody may find something useful in amongst this list of 10-20 Jag deals for E-Pace, F-Pace, etc.

Other than the Volvo V90, has anyone found any decent deals on estate cars? BMW, Audi, Merc, Jag, VW preferably.

I'm after petrol ideally due to short trips - from what I've read a diesel is a no go for this. £8k pa would be fine, Under £325 p/m

Cheers mate just wanted to see if they stuck their petrol leases on long life as my gtd is and lucky enough will miss the service before it goes back and the R estate arrives.

isn't that more about flagging the terms of the contract as dodgy rather than how it has impacted you though? The latter is general about how the company is presenting themselves but the latter is about having entered an agreement on a dodgy basis.
Contracts don't even need to be in writing to be binding.
yes but this contract IS in writing, and the generally accepted method of agreeing to it and entering into the contract is for both parties to sign. The customer can back out at any time before signing, and so can the dealer. I don't really think this complaint has legs.

This Audi A4 Allroad looks reasonable (albeit diesel).

Otherwise, you have some decent petrol A4 options I think. Have a look at Contract Hire and Leasing site.

I think they have got a lot better. My diesel Passat has coped ok with 10k miles over 20 months. It does seem to leave the engine running sometimes after I have got out of the car and in one occasion it made me go for a steady run at a set rev limit for 20mins.

Personally I think as long as you manage it and take notice of any warnings and do the occasional long run diesel should be ok. It will be under warranty anyway.

If the VAG 1.4T petrol unit is acceptable to you, this A4 S-Line deal looks good. Tidy standard spec.

267inc for 3+23 and 10k pa.

Cardiff. They did insist on seeing my original Volvo quote mind you.

I didn't do anything special, just filtered CH&L for deals less than 300 with 3 upfront and there the ad was from Stoneacre. Filled in the form week last Friday and had the full quote by lunchtime Saturday.
Thanks Snake_oil,

My R Design quote from Clive Brook Bradford was £265 on a 6+23 so yours is working out a lot cheaper. I spoke to Andy at Stoneacre on Friday and I'm just waiting for his quotes.

I'm torn between the look of the R Design and the comfort of the Momentum. Haven't test drove one yet but all reviews moan about the suspension on the R Design. Can't be bothered with the wife whinging every time I go over a bump!!

What kind of inscription did you have in Mind? "shut up" on the passenger side of the windscreen to stop the Mrs moaning?

Yeah I haven't driven it yet so am a bit apprehensive, although I generally prefer a firm ride. I believe the Momentum doesn't have the active display like Audi's Virtual Cockpit whereas RDesign does, another reason in its favour.

It was Andy who quoted me from Stoneacre and I found him very good on the phone and getting the quote through, albeit he did make a mistake on the first quote which needed me to point out... wink

As above, if in doubt get an Inscription if they are supported to the same level across the range. The prices are bonkers cheap.

I've been test driving a Q5 and an XC60. Had the Audi for 3hrs last week, and the Volvo for 3.5hrs today.

I had a momentum and it has a digital dash but not a full display like the r-design and inscription. Was decent though.

I found myself preferring the Volvo cabin over the Audi's. The Volvo feels very modern, Audi not so and I'm a very big Audi fan

Definitely want to go for an inscription model myself, just seems lovely

I suffered from Lex pulling the A6 deal. When the XF deal from Select dropped I jumped straight on it, personally I found them very quick and professional. Just catching up and reading the last pages I hope i don't get a call saying its pulled. However I have had a call from Jag finance confirming everything just over a week ago.

For those that did get on it what are you doing ref servicing?

Been quoted from the local jag garage £285 @ 12 months
£360 @ 24 months

Total £645

Select have quoted £220.60 plus £20.78 x23

Total £698.54

This was for the R-Sport

Read the last few paragraphs and it'll depend on how many miles you do.

Is that normally allowed on leases? My current lease includes maintenance so not an issue for me but a good consideration for my next one
