Just give it back a week early and save yourself £360...
Is that normally allowed on leases? My current lease includes maintenance so not an issue for me but a good consideration for my next onetotalfootball74 said:

Read the last few paragraphs and it'll depend on how many miles you do.

I’ve done it on two of my VW leases, I’m making a broad assumption the t&c’s are the same, worth looking into to save some ££
Will do, thanks Tom-neh3q said:
Been quoted from the local jag garage £285 @ 12 months
£360 @ 24 months
Which location is this for those prices?£360 @ 24 months
I think the price varies massively, so might be worth shopping around.
I have asked Lex this question before about the 24 months service and they said you can give you car back a few says early to avoid having to pay to service it. Under the terms of the contract if you hand it back 1 day early and it isn't due or overdue a service, you are ok.

With my jaguar XE 2.0t prestige lease with jag contract hire via Lex (£179 per month) the terms state if you fail to service it there’s a charge of approx £360 from memory. Remembering thinking it might be worth taking the penalty !!
The penalty will be much more than that if you invalidate the warranty by not servicing at 12 months + 30days(or whatever grace they give). https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...

it's not a condition that you have to have it serviced at main dealer, unless it specifies that on your agreement, and it generally doesn't AFAIK.
Does anybody have any experience with servicing at non-main dealerships on leases?j4ck100 said:
