No, wasnt planning to purchase. It has launch control and Im not paying for tyres
Hahahaha, that's why you have one, that's a great deal you've had.For reference, and no hard feelings if not, would you be able to get a figure and.let me know? I'm trying to do my sums and see if it's cheaper to lease for 2 years and then pay the figure, rather than buying. It was a £6k+ difference on my Skoda.

I had the Volvo s90 on a 2 day test drive and I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. As a good comparison, my bmw x6 was getting work done this week too, and I was loaned the new 5 series for a couple of days, so got to compare both cars back to back. Both had the light coloured interior and both were beautiful, with the 5 series edging it overall, with the mood lighting in the 5 series giving it that edge. You would be happy with either to be fair.
In terms of spec, Volvo wins here. Things like heated seats should surely be standard but no, they are an option on the bmw. Same for radar cruise control. Semi auto driving is brilliant on the motorway in the Volvo, a very expensive option these days but standard on the Volvo. Heating steering wheel on the Volvo (that's an option) is very Good, almost hot! Way better than the heated wheel on my x6.
Infotainment is good on both but overall idrive wins on the bmw. Maybe I'm just used to I drive but it seems more intuitive. Standard sound systems aren't great on either car with the bmw being particularly poor. Like a set of cheap pc speakers. Volvo a bit better but no awards will be won with the standard audi set ups.
Both cars were 2L diesels. I love the zf gearboxes and it was no surprise to find the bmw very accomplished in this department - as flawless as you could hope from an automatic. I was surprised however to find that the Volvo geartronic was almost as good. Throttle response was excellent and if coasting up to a roundabout, a little touch on the accelerator and it shifts straight away enabling a swift acceleration into the traffic. While I give the nod to the bmw zf gearbox, the Volvo is a close 2nd. The low down torque on both engines are good and about par with each other in that regard.
For steering and overall handling and grip, for me, the Volvo is a surprise winner. The roads are quite greasy and dirty at the moment which is a good test for both cars. What surprised me with the bmw was the poor steering feedback. Going round large sweeping roundabouts or bends, it was difficult to tell how much grip you had left, meaning the tendency was to drive with caution. The Volvo on the other hand just inspires confident driving. You are left feeling assured that the car is planted and you can tell when you are pushing it too much. For a car of this class and size, it's got more grip that you'll ever need. The bmw left me feeling a bit bemused at times and left you cautious about doing any spirited driving.
After driving these 2 cars, getting back into my other lease car, Passat alltrack was a bit of a let down! These 2 cars are miles ahead, despite the Alltrack coming in with a hefty £34k price tag.
Overall, if given the option of 5 series or s90 for free, it would be a tough call. Bmw nicer interior but behind the wheel, I'm surprised to find I enjoyed the Volvo more. Plus it's standard spec is outstanding. But when paying for one via lease, the Volvo is much cheaper and that tough call then becomes a no brainer. As a result, I'm ordering one next week, a v90. For what you get for your money its a bargain. Just need to decide on r design or not....

How many miles per year? What's discounted price? £16k for 4yrs seems ok, but 4yrs in the same car doesn't appeal to me, what's the price for a 2yr deal?
Its 8000 miles a year 2yrs is £3000 + 24x £338 which is £11100 . Having the same motor does'nt bother me, just getting rid of 11yr old Xtrail which i have had for 5 yrs. I reckon i will only need to charge phev 4 times a week which works out roughly around a fiver ! Currently £20-25 on diesel for the Xtrail.indarjit-b92ls said:

Limited selection of stock cars in black or white which had to be delivered by the end of January.
Picked up the better half’s A4 Allroad this week. We live down a farm track so a bit of ground clearance and 4wd are genuine requirements for year round use. It means we are quite restricted on vehicles (my car is a Subaru Forester which is fantastic) but the Allroad seems a good balance on initial impressions. Far more understated than a Q5 / X3 etc, which is nice.
Anyway, found the deal via What Car leasing with Audi Huddersfield. 6+23, 10k per annum, £308 inc VAT. Happy with that and really great service from Michael Brook. Factory order, no problems, delivery exactly when he said it would be (14 weeks). Can highly recommend Michael if you want an Audi.

Ok need a 4×4 and quite fancy a hybrid as most of our driving is local runs, work, shops etc. The Mitsubishi Outlander fits the bill. Im new to leasing so have no idea if this is a good deal or not !
£2600 down then 48 × £289
8000miles
Otr-£36555, thoughts ?
I know 4 years is quite long but it has a 5 yr warranty, 3 yrs breakdown and i dont see the point of puting £2500 every 2 years.
P.s.its this model 2.0 PHEV Juro Auto(Artificial leather)
Make sure you get a decent demo in one as they're not the nicest of things. Also double check fuel figures as they're no where near as good as stated (which goes for all PHEV)£2600 down then 48 × £289

That deal is not bad.Best i have found so far is below

However, the excess mileage is too high at 19p per mile.
My deal (direct with Audi) is 9.6p.

Thanks for the contact details mate, have left a message for Mark, expecting a call back in a while, i was hoping he would pull a few strings based on a 'friends' recommendation but i dont know your name, tried pm'ing you but not able to, if you want to message me with a name that would be great, if you prefer not to thats also ok. I juts find mentioning a recommendation by name speaks volumes. If may be worth contacting the dealer to see if he is able to pull any strings - Mark Hodd at Eastbourne Audi.
As your probably aware, that is a briliant deal, best i have found so far is £349 inclusive. This would be a saving of £1199.76 over 24 months, not to be sniffed at.

Got an hour demo on Weds, i know the mpg is pie in the sky 166mpg ! Yeah right ! The big draw for me is the electric side of things as 90% of our car use is local (we have a van for when my wife is dog showing ) think i could save £1000 a year on fuel, electric probably £200 a year more so £800 saving a year over 4 years= £3200, maybe not quite as much as i will have to occasionally put some petrol in but still a good saving.troika said:

I can also recommend Michael Brook having leased 3 Audi's for my office. Quick and accurate communications and a decent guy to deal with

Have all the A5 Sportback deals gone now?
They seem to have gone up slightly, but there are still some good deals on the 1.4 TFSI S-Tronic models if that’s what you’re after. I ordered the S-Line model, 3+23, 10k mpa for £286.80pm last week. The broker I used is now showing them @ £300pm, so not too bad.

I think you may have to recheck your sums, it only work's out ca £470 more over 24 months on the link you posted as far as I can tell. That's on a 9+23 profile inclusive of the broker fee as wellAs your probably aware, that is a briliant deal, best i have found so far is £349 inclusive. I work it out at £455.92 more expensive than my deal although the additional mileage cost is excessive.Below is my deal (now expired):

Any ideas on other PHEV deals? I like the fact I can write off the value against tax in the first year, and do quite a few sub 30 mile trips, so they make sense for me.Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
