Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 5)
Discussion
Reading the comments about 1.4 or 2.0 tdi Tiguan. There isn’t a longer service interval for the petrol as they are both the same. There was also a comment about a 5 mpg difference but I expect it to be a lot more.
I now have a Golf GTI averaging 33 mpg compared to the long term average of 49 on my previous GTD. However you need to work out the actual cost based on your mileage as it’s not more than a few hundred quid usually.
Overall I do much prefer the petrol Golf though.

Is it the auto or manual deal you signed up for ? What’s your deal price and who’s it with?
There’s plenty of people who want it so you could easily go to dealer and refer some one else from here

I am having a wobble about the Tiguan I signed up for on Friday - still need to decide, but where do I stand if I cancel? Is there a 14 day cool down period? I’ve not paid anything yet. I can’t see anything on the paperwork.

What’s making you wobble? The car, the contract, the miles, the whole thought of leasing?
If people are putting up with engine in the A5, then I’m sure it will be fine in a Golf sized car.
It’s a no brainier for me, my wife has a diesel Tiguan already, 7 years old and I reckon it has cost at least £2.5k per year in depreciation alone over the past 3 years plus a further £1k per year in servicing, consumables etc.
Bought it at 4 years old with 30k on it for £15k
3 years later It’s now worth £6-7k and has 58k on the clock.
£3.5k per year to run a 4-7 year old car, or £3.3k to run a brand new one with no cost to tax and no unexpected bills.
It’s a no brainer for her.

I agree. I’ve got an XE with the 2.0T ignenium engine which is much more powerful than the 1.4T Audi engine.
However we have the XE and A4 and jump into whatever car is appropriate depending who needs to drive the kids around.
I have never found the A4 lacking. It likes to be revved which makes it fun for me

No worries about leasing and the deal, more we’re thinking we should have a second 7 seater as our old XC90 is getting a bit temperamental. That’s all.If people are putting up with engine in the A5, then I’m sure it will be fine in a Golf sized car.

that is quite a bit more then my previous post ? It is quite possible as posted previously that we will see some VAG offers near June/July

Need a car by end of April and getting a little twitchy now. Anybody expect Audi to offer any better deals soon? I know it’s not the deal like last year but still not bad.
You can even add maint at £36 per month which includes tyres.
All inc vat.

We have a diesel Tiguan I think that sort of car suits a torquey diesel. And, without agonising over details, there's lots of comments on the Tiguan forum I browse from people who've switched to petrol are dismayed by the MPG being lower than they hoped.I'd be very nervous about buying a diesel now, but leasing one takes any financial concerns away.

Plenty of chat recently around S4. Best deals have been around £10K total for 10K p/a, 24 months. The above is £11.8K for an extra 4k p/a. Might be worth looking into 10K p/a deals and the price per mile for excess miles, might be cheaper than paying for it outright?Thinking of pulling the trigger on an S4 saloon tomorrow...

I'd be surprised if you can get a fresh order delivered by end of April, so might be worth calling around for any potential cancelled orders or stock cars also.
But as I always say - if you're happy with the car and the price, and especially if you can get it delivered within two months, then just go for it.
