Another vote for Scirocco R. Can be remapped (and un-remapped) very easily to ~350bhp and ~4secs to 60.
Any suggestions on maps? I've had my Scirocco R for a year and fancy a little boost.Cheers

As others have said, make sure you un-flash it properly before handback (if a lease).

I've leased the A5 cab s line deal a few weeks back -
3+23
I've been quoted -
Service & maintenance £13.59/Month (£353 over term)
Service, maintenance & Tyres £16.71/Month (£434 over term)
I'll be doing 8k/year so 16k total
Is it worth going for? Has anyone had any experience?
For how cheap that deal was I'd pay the extra and be fully covered personally.3+23

A map will leave a TD1 flag even if the map is removed. Just something worth considering on a lease.
Yep and manufacturers/dealers have reinforced detection, quite rightly as the next owner may not want to have a previously chipped car.Mapping a lease is quite a stupid things to do IMO, particularly if you have an engine or box issue.
To be fair, if 250/300bhp is not enough on the public road (you can't track a leased car) then the issue is with the driver.

You can't un-flash it properly, but I assume you have ZERO experience. Mapping is quite an inconsiderate / gypo thing to do on a lease.Edited by nickfrog on Saturday 24th February 12:37

I got the order number straight away so I could log into Audi and see progress. My build slot was 12th Feb and it was built and shipped in a day - current status is "arrived in UK"
I originally thought it was Swansea Audi but it's actually Blackburn Audi
I only had my paperwork through yesterday via email to sign and send off my driving license.
Dealing with Chris Powell at uchoose if that helps

There are some good deals around on the Arona at the moment. My daughter ordered a 1.0TSI 115bhp DSG SE Technology from Stoneacre earlier this month. Including free metallic paint and a spare wheel it was £1k up front and 35 x £167 for 8k Miles pa and no fees. Equates to £190 per month overall.
CVL are another good source if you're looking for an Arona @Alictait. It's been posted before but a while ago.It seems dealers are matching these sort of prices too with no fees.

I'm looking at the DSG 115 SE Tech. the 9+23 and 3+23 are pretty much the same total cost for 10k miles at about £4,780.
I am looking again for a C-CLASS Coupe 220d AMG Line with Premium, auto gearbox. 10K miles 3+23
Anyone got any tips, found some good deals using www.Contracthireandleasing.com, is that the method most use on here?

BMW really starting to struggle in the UK. Its 2017 sales fell -4%. Folk are switching to Mercs, which grew +7%.
Noticed today the good M4 leases from a week or two ago have not yet sold out. Thought they would have been snapped up by now.
The i8 deal looks pretty expensive, at 28-30% of RRP for 6k mpa. But the relatively cheap monthlies put a ~£100k car within reach of someone on just ~£50k salary a year. Imagine it will get snapped up quick.
Would help if the 1 series and 7 series and everything in between didn't have the same fking copy and pasted interior designNoticed today the good M4 leases from a week or two ago have not yet sold out. Thought they would have been snapped up by now.

I generally lean heavily towards BMW and even i'm preferring the current MB designs from the outside. But I don't think its due to an error on anyones part. We've simply reached a point where other manufacturers design language is in the ascendency and BMW's design language needs a refresh.
WRT interiors, I don't think BMW are alone in this. They all seem to have the same interior from model to model, simply improving materials, increasing screen sizes a bit, etc. Yes you see a difference when there's a refresh of a model, but then the rest of the range follows and they all look the same again. The only exception is ancillary/lifestyle/"pay more for a better looking car on same platform" models. For example the 6 GC interior.

Thanks for your quick reply, I have a SLI number which I think is used to track the build but i havnt been given the postcode of the ordering dealer so I cant track the build, Did you get all this info when you placed the order?. I have asked my broker for this info but he says he hasnt received it yet. Can I ask what date you ordered your car also?
I didn't have it either and I just used the brokers postcode. Or I might have chosen the option for company car. I can't remember but I successfully tracked without that dealers postcode. Good luck.5to1 said:
Could be worse, Audi's design team copy and paste inside and out In fact, some times I struggle to tell the difference from the outside between generations.

The "standard" BMW interior has pretty much been in place since at least the F30 in 2011 though, it does feel a long time and replacing a car with something that looks as near as dammit identical doesn't give any new car buzz so we will simply go elsewhere just for a bit of variety even if the features are much the same.I generally lean heavily towards BMW and even i'm preferring the current MB designs from the outside.
