Not sure I understand the Mumsnetty rants about “THIS IS A LEASE THREAD”. It’s all relevant in a way. Are the moaners moderators? Have I missed summit?
it's the topic. The posting rate is rapid enough without including a run rate of other types of deals.
The topic has a question mark at the end. Provoking discussion, which might or might not include comparisons with other ways of funding or associated comments. Lots on here take life too seriously.
But if we allow PCP posts there wouldn't be space for his "sigh" posts biggrin
actually you'll fking notice that despite being disparaging about the guy asking a PCP question immediately below a discussion about how the thread isn't about PCPs, i actually tried to help the guy by asking about what agreement he'd made with his friend about what happens at the end of the contract.

Below links give an indication that A8 sales have fallen quite significantly year on year in Europe and US thus the support necessary.

That's the previous model, which was around for 6 years +. This one is a brand new model.

XC60 is an awesome looking car but above sounds quite expensive. Might be worth pointing your friend towards a merc glc which is available for a bit less. A quick search brought up link below:

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...
Thanks for that, have forwarded over.

How did you find stock cars on CHL? Just sifting through or have I missed some obvious filter smile

Edit:

Ignore that, just spotted the "in stock" filter biggrin

Once you complete the initial search on vehicle there is a refine menu where you can filter again to in stock only.

Yeah, I’ve found one. (Actually, I was ordered to find one - careful what you wish for...)

2018 BMW 520d M Sport Saloon In Alpine White with Black Leather.

deposit £1000 +47 x £399 plus GFV £15665
2.9% APR and 8000 miles pa.
Nah, it’s cheaper to lease - even a two year lease is cheaper https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...

Have you driven one? I had one as a courtesy car a month or so ago and was completely uninspired by it. I felt like I was the captain of a cruise ship!

It actually changed my view on cars! I have bought a number of new cars without driving them before (BMW 330e, Volvo XC60...), and had my eye on the S/V90 for when my current lease ends. I would have been devastated had I pulled the trigger without driving it and then had it for 2/3 years. It wasn’t the AWD I had though to be fair.

I guess I’m in the minority when it comes to buying without trying though?!

Tend to buy cars when they're first released, so often end up buying without driving.

The Cayenne is a case in point. But I've driven the previous one and so don't think it's such a big risk. Driven lots of the BMW range, so again I wouldn't be too worried about buying even a completely new model such as the 8 series. The biggest risk, in terms of price and unknown factor was the Gallardo, never drove that until I picked it up. But I could have probably shifted it without any loss as it was an early car. EV's are pricing things up abit though. Quite like the look of the i-Pace, but wouldn't buy that without driving biggrin

Hi
When did you get this offer?

The reason I ask is I have been in contact with Seat this week. I have been informed that this deal is no longer available.

Yesterday I forwarded Seat the Whatcar link which shows a great lease deal and Seat confirmed they have now been in contact with Whatcar and the deal pulled.

Seat stated that the reason for pulling the offer was due to a 20 week build time and they were loosing money on the deal!!

This was all confirmed via e-mail with Seat.

I will contact Warrington Seat now smile

Cheers
