Sorry it's from an internal corporate site that can only be accessed via our intranet. I'm just looking to gauge value but sounds like its worth going for.As a newbie to leasing, what tends to be the score with tax and insurance? Obviously I would have to insure myself to drive fully ocmp however what are the implications for GAP etc?
so what happens if your car is due to go back, and BCA haven't been in touch to arrange the inspection?
Tried to contact them, but just get put on hold indefinitely...
Car is due back on Friday - not heard a peep out of VWFS about collection either - can I still use it after the end of the lease?

I wouldn't...could be all sorts of insurance issues. Ring vwfs and ask them to sort it?Tried to contact them, but just get put on hold indefinitely...

Ford Kuga St Line X 1.5T
Moondust Silver
Rear Privacy Glass
Rear View Camera
Heated steering wheel
8000 miles on a 1+35
The options add about £13 a month so not too bad. Makes for a well specced car.
£270 a month direct from my local Ford so no fees.
A quick search online and this deal is nearly £2k better over the 3 years? Unless I'm missing somethingFord Kuga St Line X 1.5T

- edit, the one I found is a poorer spec. Yours actually is a fair deal

Hi all,
I am current looking for a Golf GTI 5dr DSG for July/August time.
The best I have been able to find so far is on Nationwide Vehicle Contacts.
Profile: 6 + 23 months
Monthly: £297.96
Initial: £1787.76
Mileage: 10000
The best deals listed on CH&L seem to be all around the same £299 mark. Does anybody know of anything better?
Thanks

Was a 12 week wait(factory order) so all being well will have it mid June.
This was the best I could find at the time.
Deal was from Leasing Options

Amortised over 2 years it's slightly more than other brokers and mileage allowance less. I can't remember but Mangoletsi might also charge an admin fee?
Also, if you are willing to stretch to 3 years Stoneacre has them at £189/month vs £245 @ Mangoletsi (equivalent)
Are they factory orders or stock, do you know? Also, if you are willing to stretch to 3 years Stoneacre has them at £189/month vs £245 @ Mangoletsi (equivalent)

Tax is usually included in the rental. Insurance is your responsibility. Tell the provider that you're leasing the car and not the owner. It doesn't make any difference to your premium (at least it hasn't ever done so for me).
GAP is recommended as you never want to get stung for thousands, however there have been stories on here of lease cars being written off and the 'main' insurance policy settled with the finance company and GAP wasn't needed. That's your call though.

After considering a PCP deal with Stratstone on a Disco Sport HSE Black and then coming to my senses - I have my mind firmly fixed on an XC90 ('deal' permitting) - found an R Design 430.00 9+23 8K per annum including metallic paint - amortised its 24.7% of list price over 2 years.
On a separate note - went to Audi Halesowen to have a look at a used A6 avant black edition as I was considering taking the CVL offer from last week. They were the most unhelpful bunch ever.
What are people's thoughts. on the XC90.

I’m not sure ‘most’ insurance companies do this anymore - certainly some do. I’m also not sure if you’re ever the owner or keeper. I believe the lease company is the owner, as they paid for it, and also the registered keeper, as they are the ones on the V5 - plenty of wriggle room for the insurance company right there. I could be wrong though!

If you don't mind me asking, what was your Disco Sport 'deal' coming out at? I'm currently waiting for a couple of Velar quotes from Stratstone. On a separate note - went to Audi Halesowen to have a look at a used A6 avant black edition as I was considering taking the CVL offer from last week. When you went to Audi, did you make the mistake of telling them about the CVL deal? You've gotta just lie to them and have them believe that you're genuinely interested in their over-inflated prices
I went to my local LR dealer a couple of weeks ago to have a look at a Velar. The 'sales-boy' literally couldn't have been less interested if he tried. To be fair, It was a bit drizzly, so I think he was worried about getting his cheap suit wet.

but if that's what you after then it's competitively priced against other offerings for the same car. Ford Sandicliffe has it for slightly cheaper (circa £5/month) if you care to haggle a little more.

Sounds like you've had a lucky escape staying out of a disco. XC90 would definitely be my choice of a 4x4 if I was looking for something in that segment. Was lucky enough to have one for a month and must say the quality was awesome. R design looks good but would also look at the inscription. To be honest don't think you could really go wrong. On a separate note - went to Audi Halesowen to have a look at a used A6 avant black edition as I was considering taking the CVL offer from last week. You're correct, you have to be registered keeper/owner to get replacement car under insurance policy. It was raised before in this thread. I’m also not sure if you’re ever the owner or keeper. Regarding Disco, was today at the tyre shop and customer was explaining why her rear electric windows don't work. She said that they are keep blowing a fuse, electric wire was already replaced and it's still happening. Not very encouraging.

it was the one on their site - 4100 down and 389 a month over 36 months (PCP) - get this - Deal ends 30 June 2018 and must be registered by then - I asked what are your lead times, as of Saturday it was end of august however strourbridge LR didnt have any available build slots. so I have to wait until Q3. the deal cant be used but is still available When you went to Audi, did you make the mistake of telling them about the CVL deal? The Inscription comes out at £30.00 a month more so an extra grand. Is it really worth that much more. I haven't been behind the wheel of one but i'm informed that its a pleasant place to be.
The Disco is a very boring cockpit. The HSE Black looks nice from outside not so nice on the inside.
I made the schoolboy error of telling the used car guy that I had seen an offer elsewhere. He asked why the leasing company haven't put me in touch with a dealership and how its cheaper to PCP then Lease. when i arrived they said the car was available to view then miraculously it was at their lock up in Tipton.
Two very different cars the XC90 and A6 Avant but space is a big thing for us for the next car with plans to extend the family. Benefit of the XC90 is the extra seats but is it worth the extra £4300 over the term??
any input?

That’s categorically not true, car insurance is generally more expensive on a lease as you don’t have a ‘vested interest’ in the vehicle, therefore likely to take more risk than if you ‘owned’ it.Tax is usually included in the rental.
