I have taken the plunge on an Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
It's a bit higher price than I liked but love the car.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio Speciale 2.2 210bhp with following options -
Sports seats package
Upgraded 19" wheels
Tinted windows
Reverse camera
Roof bars
Sure there was something else. RRP 44800
15k per annum
6+23 at £438
Weirdly no delivery (need to pick up from 280 miles away!!) but they do include gap insurance.
Any thoughts?? It's stock model so I'll pick up in around 4 weeks
Ultimately if you are happy......It's a bit higher price than I liked but love the car.

I really want a Stelvio but the lack of sports seats on the Speciale was putting me off...however seeing this......
I would need 25k miles. Could you let me know the provider/dealer?

Well adding up all the costs with the extra initial payment its actually £706 I'm going to bank the cash each month instead and see what happens I think.
Being a stock car its obviously been sat around for a few weeks, I would like to think the service indicator is reset before delivery if its time based?
My last car was a variable one when needed so didn't really matter and was brand new anyway.
Before they deliver the car to you it will have its PDI (pre delivery inspection) which is what will start the clock ticking on the service intervals.Being a stock car its obviously been sat around for a few weeks, I would like to think the service indicator is reset before delivery if its time based?

They don't conduct this PDI until the car is about to be registered and delivered, so the fact that it is a stock car should have no bearing unless it's been pre-registered (which should have been highlighted to you if this was the case).
My Vw is a long life plan, had it now for 24 months exactly, going back in a month, no service lights and oil service due in 169 days n inspection in another 500 days or do, never serviced and currently stand at 13k miles.
Considering it’s now hit exactly 2 yrs in my possession, does it now warrant a service despite the car not asking for one?
If I can get away with it, I’d rather not!

I’m in exactly the same position. Coming up to 2 years but the computer says service not due for another 100 odd days or 3000 miles though this wa because it was reset by the dealer as it started asking for a service after just 600 miles.Considering it’s now hit exactly 2 yrs in my possession, does it now warrant a service despite the car not asking for one?

I’m keeping the car for another 3 months on informal extension but that obviously takes it over the 2 years. The flexible service regime states 20000 miles or 2 years so I’m assuming that trumps whatever the car thinks.
Therefore, reluctantly, I’ve booked it in for a service. Going to have to keep it the full 3 extra months now though to get my money’s worth!!

Even if it's a pre-emptive service warning that says "service due in 30 days" at the time of handover ? Or do you mean if you litteraly do not have it serviced on the due date ?
If the car says it needs a service that is counted as light or warning on dash.My Pug was delivered to me 16/7/16 I could not get it booked in for service in July 17 so it went in in Aug.
We are now May & the car is saying 9 weeks till service due, on start up.
Alphabet say they will not collect car with this service notification showing!
Spoke to Alphabet again this morning as again I think you are correct.
The first customer contact team have confirmed the countdown is fine the actual service or spanner light showing is not.
That phone call just saved me £200.
They have also put a note on my case file to confirm the conversation just in case the driver wants to reject collection.
Cheers Stv
Surly the serving in a lease is a bit of a joke you take car out for a 2 year lease and it is due a service every year it will be looking for a service just before you hand it back if you follow the service indicator religiously.
I have a focus on a 2 year lease when I had it for 364 days it put on the service light so left it for a month then got it serviced.
intend to give it back 3-4 weeks early to hopefully avoid paying for the 2nd service as the months rental I will loose is less than the service would I be right or will they still be looking for me to pay for the 2nd service car is from alphabet...

Confirmed this morning.
V90 D5 4x4 R Design Osmium Grey metallic and front parking sensors. 6x23 £299 a month including maintenance (bottled it in the end and added it on as Volvo servicing is annual and covers punctures as well).
Very happy with the price as its for the more powerful engine and front sensors.
It will look a bit under wheeled as has standard 18s and also no sun protection glass but its a lease at the end of the day.
Should be about 3 weeks for delivery!

PDI on my car was in February 2017, when it was delivered to first dealer, then it was shipped to another dealer, I reserved it in July and collected in September. I'm sure all counters were reset at that point, rather than at initial PDI. Car was showing about 2 years to next oil and inspection. At the moment there's 400 miles gap between oil change and inspection around 19K miles. They don't conduct this PDI until the car is about to be registered and delivered, so the fact that it is a stock car should have no bearing unless it's been pre-registered (which should have been highlighted to you if this was the case).

Beechdale Derby. Chaps name was Stuart. Very good to deal with. They also had a number of metallics with options which were coming in at around the same. Some were a bit less as didn't have sport seats. Direct line - 07494 040401
Also try Sam at motorvogue as he was extremely helpful and matched the prices but couldn't get the exact spec I wanted (Sam did have a few others that Stuart couldn't get) Direct Line - 01604 777534

If it doesn't want one and it has been serviced on time in the past (if required) then there shouldn't be a problem. But whether it's right in thinking it doesn't need one is another matter so check your service book.Considering it’s now hit exactly 2 yrs in my possession, does it now warrant a service despite the car not asking for one?

In the past I had an oil service countdown , in months 14 I think it was, but this was reset by Vw as the oil service and inspection service should have both been on their long life plan, it was asking for an oil service and not an inspection service which he said was not right, there was no service light on either. So sent me on my way. Just read this on Vw, it does say a maximum of 24 months, (last paragraph) assuming this means I need to book it in?
Flexible Service Regime (LongLife Service)
We recommend this service if you are likely to drive more than 25 miles a day, and if you tend to drive in the following way:
Regular long distance driving
Driving at a constant speed with minimum vehicle and engine loading, and minimal towing
Economical driving
This Flexible regime has been made possible due to the development of new Volkswagen engines with the latest technically advanced longlife oil. These engines use built-in sensors that continually monitor the oil quality, making it possible to enjoy reliable and confident motoring for up to a maximum of 18,000* miles or 24 months (whichever occurs first).
