We like our Tiguan so much we’re thinking of getting another..

2.0 TDi BMT SEL DSG 5k 9+23
£2343 upfront + £260 monthly

Anyone seen a better price?
How about this R-line 190 4-Motion? It's about £500 more than this SEL deal, on a 9+23 at £274 for 8000 miles a year (scroll down the page to see the different terms), but it's got a £4k higher list price, and includes Pure White paint as standard, which is an option on the SEL. If you got them to adjust the mileage down to match the SEL deal at 5k p.a., I suspect it would be about the same price.

Hey there, looking to get the exact same thing - can you send me the details of the dealer please?
Are you able to PM me? I'll fire the details straight back.
Given the new VAG way of leasing if it's funded by VWFS you should be able to walk into any dealer and get the same deal, they're all on the same database now.
Unless this specific dealer is offering their own contribution it'll be no better than anywhere else.
I've had VW main dealers expressing disbelief at some of the online personal lease deals you can get. I'm looking at Golf GTI and they can't get anywhere near on contract hire compared to an average lease I find online, why is that?

Now that is interesting, although it’s stock and we won’t need ours until November, we’ll be about 4k over on mileage and it will need a service and we’re only paying £186/mo so it might work to hand it back early..

Ah that's interesting to know. My experience in the past had been that fleet salespeople could be about 50% difference in price!

In this case I'm getting the up-front £ halved due to dealer contribution so it may not be available everywhere.

I asked about that Leon deal a few pages back

should have been 9+ 35 on £140.

came back with

£2,369.18 with dealer contribution to make it 9+
£149.29 over 23

apparently a price review over the weekend and now the 35 at £140 isn't available. So not as good as the deal was.

I did the same, and got the same figure. They also said they should have uploaded the 150 version rather than the 125. Now says offer ended on CH&L. Need to sort something out soon, our Golf is due to be returned in just over 5 weeks.

Over the 3 years at £140 as a very good deal. over 2 years it isn't. The £9 for for paint apparently yet paper work does not show this

They dint even tell me about the engine.

Disputing really. I was ready to fist some fruit.

A couple of weeks ago I saw some dirt cheap automatic BMW 2 Active Tourer and a Grand Tourer prices.

A friend is after a cheap automatic mpv or suv family car, but I can’t remember where I saw these BMWs and can’t find any similar deals on them now - have they missed the boat? Pleaty of cheap manual cars available, not many autos
They were at Neva Direct - I considered one but passed for a Vovo V90. Not sure if they're still on the go.

My current lease deal ends in December (Merc B250e) and I've been reading about lead times appearing to be getting longer, any recommendations when is best to start my search for a replacement?

Always keep an eye on this thread but didn't want to start picking up the phone until it was going to work out ok timing wise so interested in peoples thoughts.

You're using the terms 'contract hire' and 'lease' as if they're different things - I wonder if the dealer is quoting PCP, rather than PCH? I suspect you're talking to the wrong sales people - you need their business / fleet sales.

When I looked at leasing our late mk1 Tiguan, our little local dealer's fleet guy was giving me the same prices as I was seeing anywhere else, and even offering to rebate part of the initial payment.

Assuming I am 100 percent certain that I will be returning a vehicle at the end of a period, is there any difference between a PCP or PCH deal on a brand new vehicle?

Yes. There's even a thread for it elsewhere.

You're most welcome.

(If nothing else, with a PCH you're only getting credit for the value of your monthlies, for PCP you're borrowing the value of the car)

First time lease newbie here.... can someone comment on whether this is a good deal, a carp deal or an ok deal?

Kia Sportage 1.7 Diesel, 2-spec (satnav, reverse camera etc)... 0+36, 10k, £283/month (inc vat, no maintenance)?

It's via ALD automotive - are they ok to deal with?

Also do I have to do the 3rd service or can I do (for example) 1st service at 12.5 months, 2nd service at 25 months and return it at 36 months?

Any other 'gotcha's' to be aware of? Tyres - are they anal about what brand etc? How are ALD for wear n tear?

I don't personally like 3 year leases because you'll have more servicing and tyres to pay for.

Diesel Sportage though, whyyyy?

Gravells Kia Bridgend doing a 1+35 on a Gt line for a few quid per month more including servicing.
