So at then end of last month I snapped up an Audi A4 2.0 Black Edition with tech pack, 6,000pa at £278 monthly 6 months initial from http://www.carleasing-online.co.uk/

I received an email the next day confirming everything and that they would be in touch with order numbers in due course.

Yesterday I received this email
“Morning Luke, I have had a problem with your order.

Audi have pushed all orders back now, I was told this would probably arrive
in September but now they are saying October at the earliest.

This means that the quote you received will not be valid.

We have a couple of options, we can wait until July and I can quote again,
but the price will definitely be more as Audi have increased their prices or
we can find another car from a different dealer.”

So now two weeks later my confirmed and secured deal is now off and im really disappointed. So any suggestions around the £280 mark would be appreciated, thanks

My S4 has landed at the dealer, and they have confirmed I can take delivery in September on 68 plate, yay!

They confirmed what somebody else on here said that they can register some cars after September. Still no clearer on whether my S4 is WLTP measured but I don’t care as outcome the same.

Roll on September!
Mine arrived this week too. My dealer is still "fairly certain" it can be registered September because it's not on the list of vehicles which definitely can't be but until he sees it in writing he can't say with 100% certainty.

I tried a few pages back but don't think I got any answers, so trying again.

Kia Sportage on a 3 year lease, not maintenance inclusive (i.e. I have to pay for servicing), via ALD Automotive (on behalf of the manufacturer/branded as 'Kia Leasing')

driving Q1. Do I have to do the 3rd service or can I do (for example) 1st service at 12.5 months, 2nd service at 25 months and return it at 36 months (i.e. with the 3rd service not due until a month later?)

driving Q2. Can I ask to end the lease early (e.g. at 35 months and 2 weeks) to avoid the 3rd service?

driving Q3. Do I have to get it MOTd before handing it back?

driving Q4. ALD automotive - are they ok to deal with at the end of lease?

driving Q5. Tyres - are they anal about what brand etc?

driving Q6. Any other 'gotcha's' to look out for?

All info gratefully received.

I ordered the same model from the local Audi dealer in May; I requested delivery in December and they confirmed the deal was ok for Q4 delivery (3 + 23 £327 for 10k per year) I have had an order number since May and as expected it is just sat at “stage 00” received at factory.

It sounds more like your broker did not book the order before the deal expired?

Yeah its really frustrating, especially after I had received order confirmation from them. I sent them an email on monday asking when I would receive the audi order number and got the above email sent the next day. Almost like they had forgot to finalise something then audi pulled the plug last week on this deal I heard.

AFAIK
Q1. Yes
Q2. Yes - you may have to pay last rental, or a percentage of it
Q3. If it's due, yes
Q4. Pass
Q5. Generally fair - not brand specific but may want original quality rather than ditchfinders

Handed back my A4 a couple of weeks ago and just had my invoice for the excess mileage. Deal was for 5k p/a when I knew I'd need 8k, but it actually worked out cheaper to take the 5k and pay the excess.

Handed the car back with 15886 miles on the clock and have been invoiced for 5886 miles totalling £424. However, the car was driven to me under the standard 'Free delivery' banner and had 650 miles on the clock when it arrived.

Phoned up Audi Finance to get the invoice changed and been told "That's not our problem - it's for you to sort out with the dealer..."

I know it's pennies in the grand scheme of things, but I'm fcensoredking feeling well stitched up. Reckon the dealer are going to refund me 2 years later?

Free delivery my bòllócks.
Well they did deliver it for free.....however you should have insisted on trailer delivery. These smaller details need to be confirmed at time of ordering as there is little come back afterwards.

Think all the S4s under that April offer will turn up about now, looks like they built a load week 20/21 and not building any more now probably until they catch up with WLTP or something not sure.

Mines going into storage now until sept.

Why are you waiting until September? Is that when your existing lease car goes back? Is your current car with Audi? - just interested as I am amazed they are happy to hold a car for so long unregistered and taking up space.

Obviously it depends on the car/spec etc, but generally speaking on 10k miles p/a over 2 years: 20-25% is a decent-ish deal, around 20% is a good deal, 15-18% is the holy grail, sub 15% is an Alltrack.
Hey how would you know if a pcp is a good deal? Say if it’s a 3 year or 4 year contract ?

Thanks

Yes, when current car goes back which isn’t a VAG car. When I originally ordered they said sept delivery was fine - apparently the rule is car has to be delivered before end of quarter following the quarter ordered in. So mine was ordered qtr2, has to be delivered by end of qtr3.

This looks decent.

Very similar to the recent one from mad sheep, that seemed to do well?

I was told this when I spoke to VWFS recently too. Very dismissive and not what we are told by brokers and dealers.
