Finding my old car, where to start?

I noticed someone on here found a couple of cars that had been scrapped, is that shown on the MOT history/checker site (if so, I couldn't see it).
I'd like to know what happened to my beloved Bright Yellow MR2 T-bar, L243APM. Last MOT'd in 2012, don't know if it was scrapped, SORN'd or what happened, maybe it's now racing in the MR2 Challenge?
It's not got a scrapped marker against it. That could mean it was stripped for parts and not scrapped properly as quite a lot of cars are, or it could mean it's still alive. The mileage seemed pretty high which isn't a great sign but you never know, it could still be around. I'd like to know what happened to my beloved Bright Yellow MR2 T-bar, L243APM. Hi,
I'm currently trying to find my grandfathers old Land rover discovery series 1 1994. It was originally in the UK until he sold it to someone in Belgium around 4 or 5 years ago. The British registration was "L807 LGM", but that would have changed when it was re registered in Belgium. The VIN is "salljgmf3ma090515". It was a red, 5 door, automatic, 300tdi ES. I know the people who bought it lived on a farm and were very close the French boarder (West). The original v5c number was: 5054 401 1407.
Can anyone give me any advice, how I might be able to get in contact with the owner.
Thanks
Finding it will be very difficult. Having the VIN means it won't be impossible though, your first step is to do a history check on it with a Euro company like AutoDNA or vindecoder.eu, the VIN shows as being protected by Germany. I'm not sure if German rules apply to Belgium but it's possible it may be in Germany. If you get a history check done on it, post the results here and I'll help as much as I can. Hi aaron,
Thanks for replying so quickly. I purchased a report on autoDNA but it hasn't really given any useful information, I'm not sure if i bought the wrong type of report, but do you know any other websites which might have better information.
Thanks
Do you have a record of who it was sold/shipped to originally? Thanks for replying so quickly. Hi aaron,
I have recently come across the bill of sale paperwork and I have found the address and name of who the car was sold to.
Buyer : Varon Réuy
ADRESS:
2 rue le Haut du Parc
59830
Bachy
France
Do you know how I could get their phone number from this address?
As above, write them a letter would be the best bet. I've done this with old cars and have always had a response, include a few pics of the car in the letter to show it's genuine, failing that I'd guess there'll be some form of local YellowPages style directory you can try.
