Amazing wow! Never used thumbs app, don’t suppose you know how I can access link where it’s from?

I’d love to see if sale fell through or if any way I can pass my details on to the new owner for maybe first refusal in the future.

Thanks Aaron

V5 was issued 2 days ago so I assume it sold.

Thank you so much, I was able to see recent pictures of it! 9 years later and still looks the same.

Remember when I used to love just driving hours and hours in it, brilliant car as a single student at the time!

I noticed someone on here found a couple of cars that had been scrapped, is that shown on the MOT history/checker site (if so, I couldn't see it).

I'd like to know what happened to my beloved Bright Yellow MR2 T-bar, L243APM. Last MOT'd in 2012, don't know if it was scrapped, SORN'd or what happened, maybe it's now racing in the MR2 Challenge?

It's not got a scrapped marker against it. That could mean it was stripped for parts and not scrapped properly as quite a lot of cars are, or it could mean it's still alive. The mileage seemed pretty high which isn't a great sign but you never know, it could still be around.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.
I am trying to locate my car written off last year.
Considering buying it back and fixing it up.

Any help appreciated.
Showing as insured but no road tax or mot. Damage was £18k and counting.

get a vcheck on it, if it was written off it likely went through the salvage auctions and there may be a record.

Hi,
I'm currently trying to find my grandfathers old Land rover discovery series 1 1994. It was originally in the UK until he sold it to someone in Belgium around 4 or 5 years ago. The British registration was "L807 LGM", but that would have changed when it was re registered in Belgium. The VIN is "salljgmf3ma090515". It was a red, 5 door, automatic, 300tdi ES. I know the people who bought it lived on a farm and were very close the French boarder (West). The original v5c number was: 5054 401 1407.
Can anyone give me any advice, how I might be able to get in contact with the owner.

Thanks
Finding it will be very difficult. Having the VIN means it won't be impossible though, your first step is to do a history check on it with a Euro company like AutoDNA or vindecoder.eu, the VIN shows as being protected by Germany. I'm not sure if German rules apply to Belgium but it's possible it may be in Germany. If you get a history check done on it, post the results here and I'll help as much as I can.

Theres one particular car I’d like to find, even though its nothing exciting. When I was growing up my Grandparents owned a Ford C Max (MT58 HCX). I was only around 6 when they got it in 2009 and it is the reason why I love cars as my Grandad used to let me sit on his knee and let me steer the car into his garage. If I was to ever find this car I’d try to keep it forever but I doubt I’ll ever see the C Max again.
Still on the road and a new V5 issued at the end of last year so may have changed hands.

Hi aaron,
Thanks for replying so quickly. I purchased a report on autoDNA but it hasn't really given any useful information, I'm not sure if i bought the wrong type of report, but do you know any other websites which might have better information.

Thanks

Do you have a record of who it was sold/shipped to originally?

Unfortunately not. I have contacted landrover, to see if they have any service records in the last few years.
GDPR will stop them from sharing any useful information with you .

They're unlikely to share anything with you. Your best bet is to keep searching the VIN every 5-7 days in case it ever comes up for sale, of if you really want to you could go on Google Earth and go over al the farms near the border you can find. I'd keep a Euro search saved for "RHD land rover discovery 300" saved too.

Looking for my folks old VW T25- H721 ODC tried various Facebook forums. It was sorned but checked again and it’s been taxed and MOTd. So it’s still on the road. Any tips for finding it? Cheers
It was sold on Just Kampers in 2013, still with that owner.
Would you have any contact details for the owner? Long shot. Cheers
