Hi

I fancy the new Discovery.

With the recent drop in LR sales can I expect some decent offers to crop up over the next few months?

If so, any thoughts on what those offers might involve?

Thanks

I’d be very interested to know this also. With the job cuts they’ve announced as a result of diesel fear they are clearly struggling, I’d have thought they’d want to incentivise more. Lack of Current discounts and lease deals make them significantly more expensive than rival SUVs (XC90,X5,Q7 etc...). I wanted one but a new XC90 turns up in a few days as it was significantly better value for money.

Sorry to bump, just hoping to catch the week day crowd.

Also, any thoughts on spec, problems, or other useful information.

Thank you.

I am sure that there is an in joke I am not getting.

If it is about looking on the forum for something, sorry, I searched and couldn't find it.
If it about something to do with the car and needing glasses frequently can you bring me up to speed, again, sorry!

If they reduce production to better match demand then there may well not be much in the way of offers.

I'd be surprised if any car isn't build to order now. They don't just churn them out any more

I don't know how JLR works but generally orders are loaded and assigned to various country sales organisations well in advance and then amended and assigned as customers place their orders. If no customer comes along then you get cars kicking around. Vehicle production lines really need to run at capacity or not at all.
