Out of interest, historically.... has there ever been 'great' deals on Audi RS vehicles in any BLCDA thread since vol 1?

I'm aware of the much talked about S4 deal... I was wondering if an equivalent 'good deal' has ever been mentioned on a RS.

The wife submitted an order for an arteon R line 1.5 evo manual yesterday after being contacted by VW about a new lease when her scirocco ends. It worked out about £262 per month amortised for 8000 miles. We thought it was an excellent deal so although the arteon wasn't previously on her radar she filled the order form in and went for it.

Fast forward to today and the vw staff member dealing has realised that you can't actually order a arteon manual and the price for a DSG is about £31 a month more. Wife is now wavering as she isn't keen on an auto. I still think its a good deal though at £293 per month amortised .
Had an identical situation a few weeks ago, ordered the 1.5 manual then had it cancelled. Eventually went for a 2.0DSG as the price was only a couple of quid more than the 1.5DSG. I went through KGVS but there are a couple of slightly cheaper options out there now I think, eg: https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/lease-comp...

possibly what would 10k be?
The excess mileage for another 5k works out at £300, so £25 a month ( if inclusive of VAT)

That's a cheap deal for a new car, not often that anything comes on at £100 a month.

Same here. I've a 430d Gran Coupe and would never go back to a manual. It's a chore driving my wife's manual.
I find I forget to change gears when I occasionally drive my wife's manual..... until I wonder why I'm not going any faster and what the loud noise is coming from the engine bay lol

Might still be able to pick up one of the last remaining pre-reg M2's on a 3 year PCP. The deals have been going since March but last I read on babybmw there may still be a few floating around at dealers.

I am £1000 down, £467 a month including the first 12 months tax. List price of the spec was approx 51k but was discounted to 42k as a pre reg with delivery miles.

(in before I get shot by the 'this is not a pcp thread' crew)

Nice car and good value at that kind of money

For those who went for the 225xe- did you go sport or m sport? Reasoning?
I went for sport model primarily due to negative reviews for m-sport model on 18" run flats versus the sport on 17" conventional tyres.

Personally hated run flats on both BMW cars I've had in the past. That plus 'remodelling' the wife has done to 19" wheels on leased Leon Cupra we're returning made an easy decision for me.

Yes I've posted a few times in here, I believe it to be Costworld BMW as per survey I was sent out by Total Motion.

Hi chaps,

I’ve trawled through pages and pages here but couldn’t find the definitive costs of the Santander V60 deal. 8k miles would do us as a family wagon. I have other vehicles for my work. Anybody care to re-post the deal?

Skoda Superb goes back in about 3 months time. Has been a great car and would take another at the same deal if it came up 1490 + 23 x179. Extended it another year for an additional £9 per month too!

The 225xe deal seems decent, interior looks nice exterior not so much but not too fussed. I would need to check out the boot on one of them though with all of the kids buggies and paraphanelia.

Cheers that works out only about £20 a month more than the 1.5 from vw but with 10000 miles per year instead of 8. I would order it now but the wife is still wavering!

if VW matched that deal but without the fee its only £3 a month more than the 1.5 which seems a no brainer.

No. Why would Audi do that? Never happens. Will never happen.

VWFS don't seem to give good support on RS models hence why we done see good deals

10k was about £290 on 1+17 so 8k will be slightly less that that if it helps.

Santander will give you a quote. Here's the web address: https://www.santanderconsumer.co.uk/123contracthir...

They've quoted me £332/month for a V90 R-Design T4 with smartphone integration. I've asked them for a quote on a D4 for comparison. Originally had my eye on the XC60, but at £80/month less, it's a sizeable saving.

Phone them up on Monday and they will tell you on the spot
Im just about to FTK on a V90 but would be interested in V60 numbers too

The following were given to me last week by Santander
All V90 on 1+17 12000 miles in total (8kPA)

D4 R Design 353
D4 Inscription 392
D5 R Design 536
D5 Inscription 574
T5 CC 359
T4 Ins 334
T4 R Des 296
T5 Insc 383
T5 R Des 345

Your R Design T4 looks steep at 332 as the phone should only cost 300/18 = £16/month extra
Is it on the same terms as my quotes??

Yeh My Survey also stated Cotswold.
Was speaking to Fleet Manager at my local BMW dealer and she was keen to get the business, if Total Motion would agree. I would also want the same too so I can spend a bit of time with somebody knowledgable about the he car.

Are you talking about the car being delivered to a local dealer?

Just read the actual quote from vw they have sent the wife, they have actually quoted her for the 2 litre r line arteon!

£7050 over 2 years, £293.75 per month amortised which I work out to be 20.5% of the list price.

I think its a good deal, I just wish she would stop messing about and order the bugger.
